Hey my name is Nicolai and this channel consists of interesting and informational gaming content. Most specifically content within the world of League of Legends. From Top 5 list videos, to video essays about something you had no idea existed and more.
I’m a girl who plays League and this stuff is just discouraging. It makes me cringe knowing that it just reinforces negative stereotypes about female gamers.
I'm a Korean playing on KR server, but I used to live in the US so I also have an NA account, which is older than my KR account. On my NA account I own both Riot Tristana and Unchained Alistar ahaha. Too bad I'm god-awful at Tristana and Alistar to make much use of it... plus NA ping is 200+ playing from Korea so no shot at even showing off LOL
Nah man. They do look similar. Don't just listen to the example. Like, look at the face shape, the eyes, the nose, the hair, everything. It truly looks like seraphine was based on her. However yeah, I can't 100% confirm that riot used her image to create Seraphine
That is not bypassing. That is still complying to China's rule of not showing skulls. They've done it to fortnite for an extremely long time. China wants its people to not think about their morality. So religion in depictions of death and religion are censored
i woulda been pissed if the quiet guy got fined for not wanting to talk to his team mates... you can't hire the dudes who are good at playing LoL and then punish them for doing things that happen when you play LoL... there was obviously a method to the madness
See, I’d like to think it wasn’t an issue of splitting the prize. The issue I think was that Dignitas and Curse basically made a mockery of what was supposed to be a serious tournament. Riot doesn’t have an issue with sportsmanship, and splitting the prize with the second place team can be considered that. Riot does, however, have an issue with their biggest events being turned into clown fiestas. How would you feel if you put together one of the biggest tournaments in the gaming world, only to see two teams not taking it seriously in the slightest? You’d be offended and consider it for what it is. Trolling. Which riot has a huge no-no policy with *Especially* among their “pros”.
2:14 u also forgot odyssey ziggs. They gave that skin away for free. I think it was the latest and the last free skin riot gave. (excluding victorious)
I really like both of your videos about female players and I think you make really good points about finding women who are at a high skill level that can help boost a team then just following a gimmick. I find it weird how a lot of people in either comment section talk about the players' physical looks. Like if a woman is very attractive she should be a streamer or that leagues should instead focus on hiring unattractive players. The language around it feels very objectifying in my opinion. How a woman looks does not impact her ability to play a video game and how she presents herself does not impact that. If you spend like 6-8 hours playing LoL a day, you can still have time to shower, have good hygiene and look good. Regardless of gender. There are men who play LoL professionally who take care of themselves and look attractive, but no one ties the value of who they are as players to their looks because there's no collation. At the end of the day, it's misogynistic to value a woman purely based on her looks and if it makes you upset that I'm saying that then maybe reevaluate how you think about women. I would love to see a female player make it as a professional player based on her skill level. It's a shame the previous teams haven't worked out purely due to poor team organization and not prioritizing actually skilled players. Plus, the hate the players faced for being women on top of everything else. I imagine for any potential female pro player she'd need an insane drive and motivation to push through everything working against her simply because she is a woman trying to succeed in a male dominated scene.
Thats not legal. The moment you sign the entry in a legalized competition, unless rules cover the issue prior to the issue happening, they can't deny them the prize...
Doing an all female team to prove something is ridiculous. A mixed one would have been way more significant. I came here because I'm surprised there is not a single female interested and capable enough to play with other teams (as far as I know at least)
Tbh, Wild Rift just doesn't do good in SEA. For the islands part, they love Mobile Legends; for the mainland part, they love Arena of Valor. No one actually want to play a complicated and advanced match on mobile.
Thats why Dota 2 is better than LOL. Maybe because it is only 20 k dollars they dont care about doing this. In dota 2 the lowest In a Major tourna can get is 300 K. So pro teams really compete to become champions.
I just got banned for playing too bad. I had a playstyle where I needed to get early roams to snowball the match, but due to fails leading to enemies escaping in low hp an me dying, I fell off very hard and couldn't get back in game. Tried engaging low hp enemies just for them to toggle a barrier and their support to be just out of sight to flash shield them, leading to my death without a kill. On top of that enemies started camping me in bushes in case I roam so they caught me off guard, killing me. More times I wernt to ward as I was a supp and didn't expect enemy to be so fast to be able to catch me while I was retreating, so i died. This happened in lots of matches. When I got early kills I snowballed and was MVP, when I didn't i got bullied to the end. I thought I could be helpful helping at drake but got killed there too. Many of these occured leading me with a whooping 11 death average, 2-3 deaths/won game and 15-20 deaths/lost game. After getting a kill in the lost games I managed to get back into game and be able to help team, but enemies were just too fed at that point for the allies to be able to deal with them. I admit i am quite bad at the game and that was silver soloqueue, but I actually got banned for playing that bad. I couldn't even defend towers as I got dove 1v1 by some tank enemy I couldn't deal with. So getting banned for playing bad is definetly possible. I just appealed the ban and hope they review the game manually, without the automatic review bot that suspended me to see I tried my best. I didn't run down lanes or died without a possible good outcome, but I just can't understand this new split where enemies get lots of heals and shields out of nowhere every single time.
One is a cosmetic thing, Like you want something like Unbound Thresh to be your legacy should you win a tournament, or have a moment? Also if it was a bug by the game, it´s pretty clear. Forgetting to take smite, that´s a mistake. Just like Pressing R instead of E. It´s a human error and you gotta live with it.
