All 2 cylinder bikes feel odd as sport bikes. Agree needs a triple or an inline 4 for sports bikes. Nakeds and adventure can be cp2, but not sports bikes
I'm lucky, as in the spring / summer time, there are loads of test rides in my city. Also, meeting people at these events, creating friendships, exchanging bikes😅
I was in a position to buy a bike in January and I went with the 2023 MT-10. It has far too many strong points to overlook if you're interested in a proper supernaked that can be used realistically as daily transportation for reasonable money. Dollar for dollar noting in my research was even close, which is why it was such an easy decision when I was replacing my daily. Riding it is never short of an experience.
I agree, you can't beat it for the money. It's actually good around town, you can tour on it (with the caveat that you have to plan gas stops), and it's fantastic on the twisties. And yes, I get a huge grin every time I got on it 😁
@@mt-10addiction LOL, gas stops are definitely a thing on an MT-10. Giant Loop's 2 gallon bag is a fantastic travel gas solution to any bike that's not a GS.

Beautiful video ❤. I own a scrambler Ducati 800 right now. Bought it in my 20’s, now I’m in my 30's i think this bike better suits me now cause I’m getting old. LOL. And can’t deny that horsepower and torque upgrade either. Cool video mate!

Honda maybe, but I don't think you can accuse Yamaha of building bikes without character, especially in the MT range. Regarding the BMW, it's stupid fast, but not involving.
Incerc sa le fac cat mai lungi, dar de exemplu, aici, cu 1390-ul, din jumatate de ora cat l-am avut, am stat si in trafic, si am ales sa pun doar bucatile cele mai interesante. Ride safe ✌️
The SF has the looks and the style and it handles better, but the Yammie has what is currently the best sportbike motor on the road right now... What it gives up in sharp handling it makes up for in sheer grunt and sound... I also feel like the quickshifter is better on the MT, and the gearbox smoother...
I literally just went from a 23 MT-10 to a 24 Streetfighter V2... MT-10 is a little more comfy and has more power, the SF is way better looking, sharper handling and better brakes.
I haven't, but I will in a week's time, as the MT Tour is coming to my town. But compared to my gen 1 bike, it's the classic inline 4 vs big V-Twin difference - the KTM has way more instant torque. The agility is similar, but the stock brakes on the 1390 are way better.
As a long time MT10 owner, this is the only bike that could tempt me off the Yamaha. It's just a shame I keep hearing reports of reliability issues with KTM.
Yeah, reliability issues are a big thing that's keeping me away from KTMs. That and hearing about long delivery time for parts. In 5 years of ownership, I had no major issues with the MT-10. Other than the regular maintenance, I just replaced the steering bearings.
Money no object, yeah, I would go for it. That instant acceleration is so addictive! Oh, and it would have to be reliable 😅 Heat wise, I only had it for something like half an hour, the outside temperature was about 25 degrees, and I did not notice any heat buildup. Seemed quite fine.

Thank you! Can't say I invented it 😅 Using subtitles instead of talking allows for a more focused approach - no dead moments. I also like to include only the most exciting footage in the video. One could use two mics, one for the voice, one for the exhaust sound, but that complicates matters. Plus that I don't like the sound of my voice 😅
