This is the 3rd episode and we cover how was February fishing and what we expect for March.
This Podcast started in January 2024 is hosted by John Dalton from the Creek Fishing Adventures RU-vid channel and cohosted by Ethan from the Fish Anything RU-vid channel.

What are your best tips for bank fishing? What about for fishing with little kids?

A couple questions for you: 1) Do you have any tips for targeting green sunfish? I find them interesting, but only get them in "the mix" with bluegill and tiny bass. 2) Have either of you experimented with making your own baits/lures? The podcast is coming along nicely, y'all are getting into the rhythm now. Keep it up!

QUESTION for John or listeners in the middle TN area. Have you been to Music City Outdoors in Nashville? They have a HUGE inventory of kayaks. I'm not affiliated with them but, John answered on a live video and helped me decide on a OldTown topwater 106 last year. Thanks yall keep it up!

Have always fished for whatever, but of late, I have turned to just bass. But you guys have got me back to whatever😊. Great show, and look forward to all you ualls shows

We used to catch 16 to 17 inch perch every year in MI. They were not common but we would catch a couple that size every yr. 12 to 13 inch perch were fairly common. Alot of them were 10 to 11 inches. This was back in the 70s to mid 80s.

Hello from Wichita, Kansas! I just made a fish attractor using 4 inch corrugated pipe as the trunk, then black irrigation pipe as branches. Placed in concrete. I want to make a RU-vid video about building it the way I did. Placed it in the water yesterday. Will be curious how long it takes for the fish to find it! 6 feet tall. Visible under the water (barely) Super excited! Bluegill, hybrid bluegill, crappie, largemouth. Pond has bottom aeration. 3.3 surface acre.

What is something new you want to try this year? Lure, rod & reel, fish species, location, etc. For me I found out the DNR will be stocking some rainbow trout in some small bodies of water near me. I also invested in the TFO U L rod & Daiwa reel with 2# mono that Ethan highlighted in one of his videos. Have never fished for or caught a trout and looking forward to it.

For me, the idea of a Yellow Perch bigger than 1 pound is almost completely incomprehensible as a resident of South Jersey that often fishes in both PA and NJ. I would be extremely lucky to catch a Yellow Perch that is bigger than half a pound. Also, seeing a Yellow Perch longer than 12 inches and weighing more than 1 pound would be incredible, but very unlikely for the waterbodies in my area.

John one thing that I would like to know is would you consider diving into the BFS world since you like Ultralight Fishing? I know that FishAnything either has or had the KastKing Zephyr. Honestly it is a blast catching a big fish on very small line and small lures.

John have you ever done any ultralight fishing in north alabama just asking because I have been trying and have had not had any luck I was just wondering if you was using a special technique

One of the craziest catches I ever had was fishing from a float tube in the back waters of a lake, I was using a 3 inch grub catching white bass not thinking anything would happen I hooked a musky and fought it for awhile and got it up and on the netting it was longer than the 3 foot marking on the netting, it smacked me a few times and broke the line off before I got it unhooked, a guy on the bank said it was funny watching me fight that fish and said they don't normally bite where I caught it because it was only aroun 2 foot deep where I was casting

I am an ultra light fisher but sometimes it's a challenge to find small crank baits, spinners, whoppers... so I'm trying to step up my rod and reel to do more bass fishing with 1/8 up to 1/4 oz jigs maybe even some small frogs. Just expanding to trying some braid with a leader and going to a longer rod. So can you give me some suggestions?

Me too!!!February produced my PB for my current home lake 6.2lbs. Question: The lake I fish is brackish and there are multispecies but I can't get any pan fish or tilapia and I know they are in there. How do I get these salty fish to bite. Fresh or Fake for Bait? Great Podcast can't wait for MORE!!!

Greetings from Oregon! Question for you regarding your comment while talking about spinner baits: why do you prefer a baitcasting reel over a spinning reel for this type of lure, or just in general? I guess I don’t quite understand what the differences between the two are for practical use. Most of my experience with baitcasting reels has been for bigger, heavier fish, like catfish or sturgeon. Why use it for something small like bass? Thank you for all of the amazing content your two channels put out.

So I once went fishing and forgot my bait, and had to improvise. Believe it or not I caught a 18” horsehead sucker on a worm made out of Bubble Yum gum. Here’s my two part question. What is the worst thing you’ve forgot to bring fishing, and what was the craziest catch ever on a trip?😂

John, I have a two part question. First, since you love the NBA so much, who do you have as your GOAT? LeBron, Jordan, or Kareem? (Please note: Any answer other than LeBron is an incorrect answer! Lol) And secondly, to tie it into fishing, what would be your GOAT fishing lure?
