Great video and thank you, I think I will go with freewell because of the “bonus” PL filter. Can always add the warm gold color after. Did you order the freewells from their main site? Btw what do you keep your white balance at? 5600k?
Good choice! The PL is really good to remove flares and give you a more saturated color! And yes you can always make it warmer or cold on postproduction.
Nice! Super clear explanation, I like the clean look of the Freewel ND. I'm actually surprised that there was something nice about the auto settings, as it looks like it increases the dynamic range (going from darker to brighter parts, without clipping on one of the two sides), if somehow you could keep the shutter relatively slow (maybe 1/60 - 1/120 s) while also (slowly) adjusting to surroundings it might make for a nice balance.
Yeah as you saw to keep everything balanced then you can’t keep the shutter fix, since it will be too bright. Even when I took the ISO at 100. Auto on everything is actually not that bad for a GoPro, only if you want that Cinematic look then you might want to go with nd and all that stuff! Otherwise the auto is doing just fine. Still would never suggest someone to film in Auto 😂

I finally got 4.5 on my brain Fpv boards and all I can say is wow. It worked beautifully. I feel so much more confident flying out farther now It’s allowed me to utilize my DJI O3 systems to their fullest without fear

Props isnt the issue its the helion frame..they made a thicker plate apparently thst fixes it but i have zero vibrations on my custom 10inch build wirh hq props.
Agreed to disagree! I showed you what happened after changing my props! And you telling me otherwise? Thanks but no thanks 🫶🏾. I’m not saying there isn’t an issue! I don’t fly all Helion out there and I do know some that are fly worst than others! But on my case it was clear that the props didn’t work!
@@babang_des your throwing on complete different profile prop with same tune expecting it to have no issues ? Sorry it doesn't work like that. If you change a prop that has completely different weight and chord thickness expecting it to fly the same as your much thinner light prop on the same tune your sadly mistaken Btw I'm not having a go at you man 👌 love your content but the hq props are completely different you can't expect them to be the same without a new tune on the quad, you will run into issues like you have and josh tune on the helion is already on the limit it's a very aggressive tune so oscillation will be expected
I agreed with the props thing but as I said I was out of the HQ one and couldn’t get it to work! Some props are just easier to deal with! BTW I’m not throwing HQ under the bus! I’m flying them in all my 5” and 7”. They just don’t cut it for me on this one!
Is that on their website somewhere? When I asked support it hadn’t been tested or approved yet. “Regarding the thicker bottom plate kit you mentioned, it is still in the testing stage and has not been released yet. What is the current version number of BF? I found that after updating 4.5, I got more jelly. Between low throttle and 30 throttle, I checked the black box data and found that the motor RPM was not synchronized when starting at low throttle, causing the motor to shake due to inconsistent RPM. The BF historical version was updated, and the motor command was modified after 4.4.3. I don't know if this has affected it,
Epic mountains and lighting. Sucks to see the JELLion 10 is still ruining shots. I just sent mine into the iflight shop for months to fix the vibrations, finally got it back aaaaaaand...... Still jello. Ill try those props tho, good vid.
Yea at the end I saw the stock props are the best. I am using thoes and even balanced them with a balancer and they still get low throttle jelly. I'm hoping the new thicker bottom plate they are sending me will fix it for good.
Now I can confirm that there is a thicker version of the bottom plate that is been tested! Just spoke to Ellis and he confirmed it! They have tested the bottom plates on the worst version of the Helion with the worst jello possible and now with the new plate all is fixed.

Yeah the Gemfan is my favorite and exactly the same happened. When you are in that perfect position with the throttle and angle 📐 everything is good. If you pulling off from a dive it just turn your clips to garbage 🗑️
Yea thats so true. Presuming when you say Gemfan is your favorite you are referring to the 1050 and not the Gemfan 1050W? By the way top call video some amazing shots you got there😊
Gemfan have a new 1050W. Wider ones. Also more heavy. Gemfan claim that they dont explode anymore. Not sure if people habe been experiencing that issue alot. I only heard of it once. Also HQ has 10x4.5x3. Foxeer has some nice 1050 too. There is a lot more testing that can be done. I tested the foxeer 1050 and Tmotor C10.5 props on my 10 inch and both work well without issues. My motors are 3115 though. Surely they spin the heavier, wider props much better.
Yeah maybe I have the new one from gemfan and I actually did test it the same day but my GoPro turned off so to make it fair I compared the ones that was recorded.
Thanks for that Babang. I grudgingly comply with the remote ID nonsense even though it will not improve safety in any way in my opinion. On the contrary, all it does is give Karens and criminals tools to harass and harm compliant drone pilots. I use the Holystone module. I got it from Amazon for about $80 if I remember correctly. Seems to work and keeps me legal but what a waste of money 🙄. I always find your content interesting, informative, and entertaining. Happy flying amigo 🫡 🍻.
Thanks mate! Yeah it is really stupid rules but that’s the world we are living in! Funny thing is 99% of people don’t know about it as a non drone flying! If you know about it you have to be a drone pilot and the same principle applies .
