Great video! I feel your love for shounen/seinen manga with great art & cool fights and characters! I have to say, the idea of those three One Punch Man dust covers forming one big artwork is simply brilliant! Thanks for showing this, it's such a nice bonus feature for the fans 🙂 Ottoman looks promising to me since I attach importance to good character dynamics, and this title looks like it's right up my alley. Same goes for Wind Breaker. From the few pages you showed it looks like it's a less intense, more comfy delinquent manga than Tokyo Revengers? Drifting Dragons' artwork and world design remind me heavily of Miyazaki's Nausicaä. How the clothes of the character look, the design of the planes and creatures, the use of screentones, the way the cloud are drawn in general.... everything looks like one big love letter to Nausicaä. Spy x Family is one of my current favourite shounen manga. I just love the humor in this one so much. The reveal of Fiona's true feelings for Loid in volume 5 and Anya's reaction to it while reading Fiona's mind just had me in stiches! 😂 Hiraeth looks ... interesting. A manga with such a subject matter just piques my intrigue. Thanks for showing this one, and all the other ones as well! P.S.: I'll respond to your comment on my latest video later this week ^_^
Thank you! Yeah, I'm basically addicted to shonen manga and I love seinen series too. Yup, those OPM covers are always a treat, I love how that was added into the design! Yes, I think you would like Ottoman since the romantic relationship between the married couple is so cute. As for Wind Breaker, yes, it's way less intense than Tokyo Revengers. In Tokyo Revengers you have a lot of extreme violence and death, while in Wind Breaker you mainly have bloody fistfights and stuff like that and the character relationships are friendly and comfy. Drifting Dragons indeed does feel like a huge love letter to the Nausicaa series and I adore that. Spy x Family is such a gem. In general everything related to Anya's reactions is hilarious. And Fiona is another great fun addition to the cast of characters. You can take your time with stuff, no need to rush since we aren't in a hurry or anything like that, I like to think of it this way: it's like sending a letter through the mail, it can take time for it to arrive ^.^ Thanks for watching and for commenting!
this was such a cool haul and i'm so excited to have found so many new gems to check out! particularly hyped for "diamond in the dark", "hiraeth" and "even if the world is over it's fun to live" :D as always thanks for the video!
MY GOD THERES A LUPIN IZAKAI IM DEAD 😭😭😂😂 that’s absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much for educating me lol I guess that’s how they keep all old franchise isiving right?! Genius. 👍 I swear, you are the king of manga! This hall is magnificent, and you mentioned so many interesting titles! I think the ones that jump out to me or windbreaker (i’m a sucker for bad but good delinquents lol) and the ways of a househusband… Because I love the idea of a Japanese househusband challenging the housewife stereotype lol 😄👍 I forgot the name of a dragon riding one, but that also sounds incredible! I’m curious, where do you get all your mangas from? As a figure collector, we have like… 10+ places to purchase from
@@SaberStash YESSSSS AMAZON JP BLESS 🙏✨✨ I actually do have a figure on pre-order with them which I’m super stoked for as the shipping was only ¥4000. I would like to do more for pre-orders, but I’m nervous if all of them auto charge… I like invoices and coming to terms with what I’m paying lol 😭 but there are a few things I’m interested in possibly getting from there kukukuuuu 😈 but I’m happy to hear they’ve been a great resource for you, as it seems like a lot of places we’re no longer an option anymore And thank you for the heads up on the househusband dilemma, I will just stick with the manga 👍👍
@@wyldphinniweeb Yeah I think that's a great approach strategy, it's for the best to first try amazon jp out to see if their services work good for you or not. One con about amazon jp is that their packaging tends to be sooo inconsistent which is pretty annoying but I'm buying books so I don't have to worry about anything breaking. So yeah, their packaging can be bad or hit/miss but from what I've seen on other people's videos, they do a better job at packaging figures so hopefully everything works out for you if you end up using them for that pre-order.
I'm currently using amazon.co.jp to buy manga in Japanese, another good alternative website is cdjapan.jp. You can find manga there by searching on the websites with the Japanese titles. The promo pamphlets commonly come as extras in first printings/editions for new manga volumes that are currently being released in Japan. These pamphlets can also be included in some reprint batches, but that's random and it typically only happens for very popular series. They're basically just ads to try to promote whatever else is releasing new volumes at that specific point in time.
