You know, what's even more unsettling? Tsar Bomb's power was supposed to be 100 MEGATONS, but Soviet scientists was scared, that they would accidentally destroy our planet, so they reduced it's power.
League ruined "Hero Based" games with their Dog crap Iron clad meta bs. By making the game so tight they strangle the ability for unique heroes to thrive without breaking the game. It's why at best 50% of all their heroes are actually viable in any situation all things being equal. Game is just the McDonalds of Video games. Super popular, but just tasty garbage. I played league for 2 years when it first came out, and got so sick of Riot's inability to let the game breath, and to let heroes be powerful. It was just a race to the bottom except when a new Champion came out. And since all roles are so rigidly defined only a handful of the heroes in each role were actually worth playing without handicapping yourself in some way. So if you don't like playing one of those heroes you can go pound sand for all Riot cares. Other games tried to follow this BS model *Cough* Overwatch *Cough*, and have gone down in flames because they don't have that McDonalds rat meat factory to keep the masses happy like Riot does. I just have never heard a good argument for League from a game design perspective of League vs DOTA. If you like the more arcade style gameplay of League that's fine, but from a pure gameplay strategy, depth and options stand point as a player DOTA is just a better game, and it's not particularly close. Really the biggest problem with DOTA is it's community is actually the worst. And leagues is awful, but DOTA's community is a bunch of cringe backseat, gatekeepy, rage fueled omega nerds. I love the game so much, but the community ruins the game. ESPECIALLY for streamers, which is an important part of bringing people into a video game. If the DOTA community wants to know why DOTA never surpassed League in popularity they can just look in the damn mirror.
As a russian student in Moscow our stupid fucking head teacher didn't cancel all the lessons one day because it was ONLY -29 (lessons need to be cancelled in our region when it's - 30)
