I live in west Texas and it gets super hot and I work outside. I used skin systems exclusively and wanted to try a lace. My skin system works great outside but I want to try a lace. This video now has me questioning about me getting a lace. I heard it’s better with hot weather
It would make sense that it would be better for sure. My experience has been that I could really tell little difference. Lace was a pain in the butt for me ….. but, I ve actually wanted to give it another shot myself. Problem for me too was the front hairline was not durable. Good luck!!!!!!!🍀
@@thehighlevelman HD111 is so superior to my old M107 thx you so much rick i finally have an hairline that look natural and stick to my skin. God bless ya 👏
Wait...so what just happened? You put the cotton on and peeled the glue off without C22 remover? And it just came off? I've played the video back several times and I'm still trying to figure this out.
Greetings. So, I do a system cut in for $95.00. When the client returns for a hair cut it is the usual haircut price not the cut in price. Cut in is about every 3 months or so
Rick. I still haven’t ordered my hair yet. I’ve made the template, (sitting in the bathroom drawer). I even picked the color.. problem is:: I’m not a barber, and have no experience cutting my own hair.. so; if I order this thing, Can I just wear it long?. Where do I go for someone to trim it without them ruining my expensive hair piece.. this is the last worry I have before buying an hd111
Hey man! So, you actually can wear it long if you like the look. You will probably want it cut though. I would check around your area for a barber with experience. Also, hair replacement studios will do a cut in for you even if you did t purchase the system from them. Best of luck, buddy. Let me know how it goes.
Rick I’m a barber I like all your demonstrations how to prepare your scalp to attach a unit. How to clean a Polly unit I enjoy the demonstrations now I can get guts enough to do it on myself . :-)
Rick, I love watching you as Professional Hairstylist you are a total joy to our craft. Plus today you sharing your Faith in the Lord was priceless to myself today being a Christian of 35years. I live & my home is in 🇬🇧 UK, I am just starting in hair system for men, as I am Ladies hairdresser but can see the biggest opportunity for helping men. Great to be in touch 🤗👍
Thank you so much for that. I’ve appreciated the positive comments to the message of faith. We are all broken in some way but Gods grace covers it all and we continue on! And…. You’re right, guys really want to have hair. Thanks again, looking forward to communicating soon! Peace bro!
Hi Rick I'm in Ontario and would love your guidance and advice. When I go to SuperHair is there someone who can cut the exact style you have. I love it so much that I can't even express in words. Do I order the Rick lol thanks for everything you do.
That’s funny…..the “Rick”. That made me laugh out loud! You can actually do that and you will get it. They will know exactly. Thanks so much for the compliment buddy! As far as the cut, you will need to find someone to do the initial cut in. Or, just fly to Texas! 😝
If only the hair system's last forever, or at least a year i could use it... But needs constantly maintenance, the sweat underneath, the glue... not for me sorry.
Do you recommend trying to recreate the hairline (minus the density, of course) that we had when we had hair versus trying to do something that we never had when we were younger?
Great question. This process is so personal to each of us. What I would say in response is, “do what makes you happy!” There are choices that look most natural and that would be my choice! The hairline is the deal breaker for me. If it’s to straight across or to dense it’s not gonna look very natural. Peace bro
How does it work tho if your single and meet a lass with your hair when do you tell her it’s a mirage had me laugh tho with the specs (HD1. -11) specs ha
Hey Rick... for rips I use Walker Tape Base Tape. It adheres to the base of Poly and stays put when you use the C-22 to remove the system. It would work great and better than scotch tape for a tear that results in a chunk like what you are showing instead of scotch tape. I have also used it all the way around the sides and back of a system, using that saved extra piece (An enthusiastic young barber cut too close to the poly and then thinned it out too much showing scalp). Just add that extra piece exactly where you cut it off (trimming your marker line off as in your vid) and recut the hair to the longer length needed. It's a seamless patch...good for at least 3 weeks of wear on something you might have thought needed to be trashed. Lovin' your vids... keep 'em comin'!
Hello again Rick! Have loved your great content for quite a while now and am thinking of starting a channal of my own. Would really appreciate some advice for getting started. Have emailed you, hope to hear back from you! :)
Rick let's be real.. what you're doing is the biggest service to the internet!! It all starts with confidence and your platform really helps me feel like there's hope to restore that.. not like just looking at what everyone has and showing off these days. What more can we say.. please keep this up.. monetize it!! And I want to meet you one day sir
It depends on several factors. The shortest wear time is in the heat and Texas humidity. There are times I take it off and clean it in five days but know that it takes me about ten minutes. I take off the unit and put it in c22 to soak and put on another that is clean and waiting. Then I go back in a couple of days and take 5 to clean the one soaking. I have done 2 weeks before but it was sliding around the last couple of days. I just like the feel of a fresh attachment and I don’t mind doing it at all. Thanks bro!!!!!! Peace man!
Wow… I just started researching hair systems and I gotta say, when I watched your RU-vid video I don’t need to do anymore searching, because you are the best of anyone I’ve seen!! You are “THE ROCKSTAR” of hair systems. Your look reminds of a ZZ TOP song called the “Sharp Dressed Man”. I wish I lived in Texas, it would be a such a pleasure to meet you in person, Rick. Would you mind if I contacted you, I have a few questions to long to list?
Thanks so much buddy!!! Wow, that was awesome! I would not mind at all if you contacted me. Call and leave a message at Rick’s Hair Co. 817 641-3429. Say in the message that we’ve communicated via RU-vid. Thanks again!!!!!!!
Hair pieces are sexy. Take it from a girl who knows. Don't be shy guys just get it done. Own it!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ If any good hearted girl has a problem with it, she's not worth your time (or money) 🍾🥂
Rick is super modest -this is one of the things that makes him such a great person to talk with. He has done 2 cut-ins for me. The first was a fohawk, just google review Rick's Hair Co and you will see my pics after he did my fohawk. He is a mad scientist when it comes to cut-ins. This is the hair guru you guys are looking for. Thanks for everything Rick and I will be reaching out soon to do my next cut-in with you as well. Take care brother!
Wishing the very best for you Chris. That was a super kind comment and I hope my love for the hair system world shows through! I do love it for sure but what I love most are comments like yours! Peace and joy bro! See ya in a bit.
I recently went back to lace and found it very challenging to clean and install again for me. It also caused me itch. Also, when removing the tape from a lace, it pulls hair out. I'll go back to poly. I had a bad experience with Lavivid. I had ordered a European unit hair from them. The description stated non chemically processed or non color and that the hair was straight and silky. It was very costly due to the advertised description. When i receive the unit, it was actually colored, processed, wavy, frizzy and Indian hair. I sought a refund. They refused saying that the unit was already custom cut. It was not my fault because of their false advertisement!
