Fellow tall long necked person here. Your hair looks amazing, and you look much better with hair than bald. I commend you on being open about using a system - it should be more socially acceptible for men to do this, and more men would if they realized how good a system can look!

Looks absolutely great. There are many bald people that said I shouldn't get a hair transplant and should accept their baldness they do. They could not accept my own decision and belief that I looked and felt more comfortable with hair. If you have the means do what make you feel confidence. Don't let yourself be shamed by people. Only your opinion what what you look like and how you feel matters. If bald is your thing go for it. If its not my thing, don't judge me for it.

Hey Rick, you're looking good as always. I'm an American man, age 74, I lost my hair about 5 years ago and have been wearing a hat every day since. You are the reason that I am currently wearing my very first hair system. Just like you, I was extremely excited and ultimately satisfied with the outcome. I should have done this about 5 years ago. You gave me that inspiration that I needed to hear and see to make my move. I just placed an order for another unit yesterday. I just now subscribed to your new channel. I'll be watching your new videos. My Chinese wife of 11 years looked at one of your videos and she said I should do this also. So I did. Thanks Rick, keep 'em coming.

Hey man! Understand, I’m not trying to sell hair systems. So this is me being super honest. The first time I got a Hair System and I cut it to fit my ball spot and put it on my head by some miracle. It went perfectly for me. Then, the next time it went terrible. I got glue in the hair, I got some of the hair underneath the system. It was a nightmare, and I had to take it off and start all over. So with that being said know that there is a learning curve, but it was not for very long. I got the hang of it really quick and now, once a week, I take the system off, I have another one waiting, ready to go on my head and it literally takes me less than 10 minutes to take it off and put one back on. The one that I take off I put c 22 solvent and let it soak for a couple of days then whenever I have a minute I go in and get the glue off of it wash it and let it dry so it’s ready whenever I do the re-install. Through the week with it on my head I honestly never even think about it. Shampoo it every morning blow dry and go just like real Hair brother it is really no big deal once you get past the initial learning curve.

Undetectable. I am slowly but steadily losing my hair in my early 40's. I had to quit finasteride because it was killing my kidneys. So now I know my hairloss will get worse pretty fast. I don't know if I will go the hairsystem or the hairtransplant route if my hairloss gets worse.
@thehighlevelman
@thehighlevelman 10 месяцев назад
I have a friend who went the transplant way. It was expensive and not a one time fix all. After the transplant, he continued losing hair so after a year he needed more transplant. He did it a second time and now needs it a third. There is now no place to harvest hair from the back and he has to leave his hair longer to cover the previous harvested areas. He regrets his decision, Hope that helps. Peace.
@NM-od3cr
@NM-od3cr 10 месяцев назад
It definitely looks good and very cool but I wouldn't say it's 100% undetectable. If you look closely at the hairline, you can see it but that's coming from someone who is focused on hair
@BradleyCoopertest
@BradleyCoopertest 10 месяцев назад
@@thehighlevelman Thanks for the answer. You are right, without taking a drug like finasteride, you’ll keep losing your hair. Only thing that scares me about a hair system is the maintenance and how long it looks undetectable. Do you have to do a touch up every single day? Yours is one of the best I have ever come across. And with me being very clumsy, I don’t know if I can ever get the hang of it. Grtz from Belgium. 🇧🇪
@thehighlevelman
@thehighlevelman 10 месяцев назад
Honestly man, after I got in the rhythm, I reinstall every seven to ten days. I remove it, let it soak in c22 overnight then next morning I take about 8 minutes to put it back on. It’s really not a big deal for me. The best of luck to you !!!!
@thehighlevelman
@thehighlevelman 10 месяцев назад
@@BradleyCoopertest hey man! Sorry 9 missed your question. No I do not do a touch up every day. I put it on and don’t do a thing for a week. Then I remove and re-attach. Once you get the hang of it, trust me, it’s super easy and quick. Takes me less that 10 min to re-attach because I have more than one. There is always one waiting ready to go while the one I remove soaks in c22. Peace

Hey Rick, I had a question, so I am currently using medical treatments and such to do my best for hair growth, I looked into getting a frontal system, because a lot of salons and hair system salons suggested that over a full system for my hair currently. the place i want to use said they will charge around 500 dollars for the system which includes cutting/fitting/shaping etc etc. with every 4 weeks of 75 dollars. So my overall question is that price good for what I am getting.
@thehighlevelman
@thehighlevelman 5 месяцев назад
Hey buddy. So, understand that I am a barber and have been for 46 years. I understand business and we all need to make a living. However, my entire purpose in creating this channel is to educate guys who are new to this world about options. What you mentioned is certainly one or them. With that being said, to answer your question, it is possible indeed to accomplish this in a much more affordable way. It’s called DIY. I would pay $200 for a a system, (not just a frontal system) I learned how to cut it to fit my bald area, then glue it to my head, then as a barber, I would cut the system in and I would be good to go with only $200 and a few supplies. I have videos on how to do this successfully. So, to answer your question realistically and honestly, that is high. The service price sounds reasonable but the price of the frontal unit is high. They have a huge mark-up on the unit. Hope this helps. By the way, this is something you can do yourself and then go have them or someone qualified to cut it in for you and save a lot of dough! Plus, a frontal system is much easier than an entire hairpiece. I would be interested to know what decision you make and how it goes. Peace my friend!

@@thehighlevelman thank you very much for the time and assistance on this, I am going to ask them if I provide the frontal system how much would they charge . I will definitely keep you posted on the situation, the only reason I want to do the frontal system before a full system is because I believe using the typical form of hair minoxidil/DHT blocker I can gain what I’ve lost it’s thinning a little in the crown so I wanted to do my best to do what I can before the full system.

That’s my concern. I think I would need to pay a stylist to help me install and maintain it. Feels like $200-$300 a month program. I might give it a go and see if it works and feels worth it. Rick- Any input? I subscribed to your channel. Lavivida suggests a full lace system tape. Do you think that’d work or not look nearly as good as your system? Thx
@thehighlevelman
@thehighlevelman 9 месяцев назад
Hey man, thanks for subscribing! Your right, probably about $200 a month if you do what I do from Superhairpieces. Full lace was a pain in the butt for me but others seem to do well with it. There are advantages for both skin and lace it just depends on your demands. I am WAY to particular about the hairline to do lace. To glue the front of it works but the for me there is a clean up issue that’s too much trouble. I have a video on Superhairpieces web site that I talk about it. Positives about lace - it breathes, even though I don’t notice the skin “not” breathing - if tape works for one it’s awesome, makes life really easy with the clean up. You can wash, sort of, your head as with skin it’s always covered. Negatives of lace (in my experience) it sheds quickly and gets thin, gluing to front of the system which is the only way to get a natural look, causes you to run the risk of the glue soaking through the lace and getting in the hair…NIGHTMARE. If you condition the hair, it causes the v-loops to loosen and the unit sheds. Hope that helps and good luck man! The bottom line, after a bit of a learning curve, it’s easy peasy and I spend that much at Starbucks lol. I bought hair and an espresso machine. 😂 😆 😝 peace to ya, brother!!! I’m here if you have questions. Oh, nearly forgot, you will need a barber to help with the cut. It’s super important. The best and most affordable way is to stay away from hair replacement places. It will cost an arm or two. Find a great barber and just schedule a haircut. If he knows his stuff, he won’t have a problem. If your regular barber know s you well and you can talk to him I’ll give you pointers to tell him. 😊
@mythinktube
@mythinktube 9 месяцев назад
It might be a steep learning curve but it's definitely doable if you take your time to figure out what needs to be done. I actually did my first reinstall last night and thanks to Rick's advice it worked a treat. Glue and poly base is by far the easiest way to reinstall once you're got the technique right. Touching up the hair line, something you'll need to do once a week if yiu sweat and do a lot of sport like me, is also easier with poly units because you can apply the glue directly to the base, which is not recommended for lace. As for the sides, you can even save on barber fees and trim those yourself, which is pretty easy to do while the system is off your head. I just set the longest possible grade across the entire sides, then switch to a mid length grade and go around the bottom half. My mates can't even tell the difference between my result and when I got it done at the salon and believe me the guys I know are brutal would take the absolute mick if I got it wrong 😂
