got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
The Seiko is a nice looking watch. However, the San Martin SN015 GMT has higher specs, and around $100 + dollars less in cost. It has a 4hz (ETA clone) movement, sapphire crystal, screw down crown, 200M water resistance, better overall finish of case and jubilee bracelet (with screws not pins), bi-direction bezel with click, anti reflective coating, super bright lume on dial AND bezel, signed crown... I feel like there is more, but you get the idea.
I would also suggest to use app like timegrapher x and earphone mic if using without a timegrapher. Not as accurate as physical timegrapher but I managed to get mine to +1s/day easily with those rather than adjusting it blindly.
For me personally, I definitely choose NH35 for one reason only. If it broke, then cheaper is to buy a new one than trying to be repaired. In addition, a new one will work much longer than repaired one. For the last in nh35 and alike movements, magic fingers of automatic winding mechanism with additional oil layer are bomb proof.
You are not even comparing top of the line watches from Seiko. You are comparing it to the cheapest Seiko watch ($50) available. Grand Seiko is top of the line.
I'm afraid you're using the blue demagnetizer wrong: First, never let is sit on top of it, always start from some millimeters above. Second you must elevate it higher at a more or less constant rate. At least 30 or 40 centimeters up. Third, repeat those steps at least twice. Once it's done the watch will be fully demagnetized.
