In this video, we will show you how to adjust four types of most commonly seen watch steel bracelets, including straight pin bracelets, screw pin bracelets, folded link bracelets with U or L pins, and the pin and collar bracelets usually equipped on higher end Seiko watches. These four types of bracelets cover most types of bracelets on the watch market from Rolex to Seiko. We have a three steps adjustment process aimed at creating the perfect fit for your bracelet. They are: measurement, adjustment, and micro adjustment.
Each bracelet requires different tools to adjust. These include a hammer, a pin punch or pin pusher, and a working block. We’ll go through each tool separately and teach you how to use these tools to adjust the bracelet safely without scratches.

Instead of a special tool, I actually just made it work using a SIM tool (from phone/sim) on my pins. Had to use some little pliers to pull out one of the particularly stubborn pins. The other just came the rest of the way out using my fingers.

My new Seiko King Samurai came with a 22mm bracelet that uses pin and collar. I used to a press to get the pins out of the bracelet and when putting it back together I couldn’t get either collar tube to fit back in the hole. I did everything even trying to squeeze the end down a little to make it slightly cone shaped to help it get it. I finally put the tube on the pusher press pin and tried to press it in but all it did was crush. I have pins with friction ends on them, they look kinda like cotter pins on them so I took one of them and hammered it in to the hole and it seems to be holding pretty good till I can get to a dealer to get a proper pin and collar installed. Thanks for making this video, it helped I just wasn’t as lucky as you, it was not going to slide back in for anything. It looked like a solid tube with no seam so there wasn’t anyway to squish it to fit.

Hi I had a question as I am thinking about buying a watch but wanted to know how long the bracket was to ensure it fit my wrist. What is the smallest size it can go?

"Simply screw back in." I bought one of the nice solid link bracelets for my watch, not the lite version, and it's impossible to screw the links back in place. They come out easily, but when I try to screw it back together with a link in place it just doesn't work, the screw hits a certain point and just locks. Infuriatingly, if I remove the link and try screwing it back together without the link in place it suddenly works. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but now I have a completely useless bracelet that I paid extra for, and at this point I'm just thinking about dumping it at a watch repair shop and asking them to resize it for me because maybe they know something I don't.

same problem here. reached out and no response. planning to ask for a refund this is not okay for an 80 dollar bracelet
@Horizontalvertigo
@Horizontalvertigo Год назад
@@louisnanda9121 I managed to get the links to screw back in on the 3rd attempt, the only advice I can give is "screw them in and out again, shifting the bracelet, until you find the magic alignment that works." To me it seems that they were made with too tight a tolerance somewhere so any slight misalignment causes the entire thing to seize up. Extremely aggravating. Now I have a Boldr bracelet that I can't size either for much the same reason lol just unlucky I guess.

Disappointed with the DIY bracelet after waiting all this time- surprised you didn’t give us something better, especially for the price. No taper on a 22mm bracelet and the cheap clasp is such a shame.
