The Motown Sound , Never be anything like this again “ Ever” , why because back then we glorified love and respect and being black , now we don’t glorify anything 😳🫢😞
A TRUE LOVE SONG TO THE RIGHT WOMAN WHOM A REAL TRUE MAN CAN CHERISH FOR ALL THE DAYS THAT HE EXISTS ON YAHWEH JEHOVAH GOD'S CREATION OF THE BEAUTIFUL EARTH. IN THE NAME OF HIS LOVING OBEDIENT SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR! AMEN AND AMEN 🙏
I first heard this on a free cd compilation that came with a magazine,Sure playlist was compiled by Faithless. I’m a huge rap, jazz blues, jungle fan but if a song touches me it touches me. It’s so melancholy but it’s so haunting and when I learned of the artists struggles it somehow made sense.❤🙏🏾Listen to the music my friends, peace to you all.👊🏾
Damn i wish i would have been in my late 20s when this came out. From 3m25s it’s truly a musical masterpiece that only Divine inspiration can bring together. I believe the best years to be alive in all History start with “Lets get it on” in 1973 and end with Marvin’s tragic death in 1984, 10 magical years where everything was possible because people believed it was. Whoever born around 1950 were lucky enough to witness him, few other Stars; in the REAL sense of the word and the opportunity to watch the Disco rise, fall and come back to life again a bit later in time. Disco is therefore Eternal and so is most if not ALL of Marvins post 70s early 80s studio albums. Pure Gold. His voice seems to reach my soul…I think he’s the actual angel after all. RIP MAESTRO 🌟
Spike Lee stole the scene of this tragic event in Jungle Fever..Every father has uttered the words"I brought you in this world and I will take you out"
