I'm Mexican and can tell you with 100% certainty that this is NOT Mexican rice. We don't mix our rice with beans like that. That's more of a Cuban, Dominican, and Puerto Rican thing. Not to mention you added way too many spices.
As a puerto rican myself, I can tell you that we do not cook rice this way either. We don't use ketchup or tomato sauce or tomato in any way into our rice typical rice with beans. We only use tomato sauce (not ketchup ) when cooking beans separately typically to mix with white rice. We also don't add butter in our oil. We do not add chili in any way, shape, or form. Our arroz must have sofrito , you should look it up . I'm safe to speak on behalf of my brothers and sisters in the Dominican Republic and Cuba the we do not make rice like this . However, it does look like it tastes good, tho.
I appreciate the attention to detail in the video, especially when it came to the cooking techniques. The chef demonstrated a keen understanding of timing and heat control, resulting in a dish where the methi retained its distinct flavor without overpowering the creamy texture of the malai. The aromatic spices used were a testament to the chef's expertise, enhancing the overall experience. Furthermore, the presenter's engaging and personable style made the viewing experience enjoyable. The enthusiasm was contagious, and it felt like I had a cooking companion guiding me through the process. The clear explanations and close-up shots of each cooking stage were immensely helpful, ensuring that I could replicate the recipe with confidence.
Why fry ,it can be baked or shallow fry with minimum oil..it could be a more delicious and healthy option. Corn starch also can be avoided to make it more healthy. Otherwise it is too good.❤
