Basically, he tried to make game like Rainbow Six 3/ SWAT 4/like but with Tarkov gun mechanic. But due to the game engine he made a game that kinda like a hero shooter instead.
This game was ridiculously fun and it makes me sad that there aren't more games like this now. Everything is so comp-oriented now. Sometimes a man just wants to drive a terrible Source car and gib people with hilariously OP shotguns.
I remember I played this mode in CSO (Counter Strike Online). Because I discover that, If I set the room rule is "Heavy sniper only", nobody can buy gun (Because snipers are ban by this map). but VIP still have his handgun with two magazines. It is funny that the VIP will stronger that everyone which can only use knife to attack him. And I make a joke that "VIP save me please!"
For crazy gamemodes we got garrys mod. When we open counter stike 99% want to play counter strike. Cs Source feels more like half life with cs skins, and 1.6 was different even if it born how a hf mod
An assassination remake of siege (named as_siege_b7) made a good use of a vehicle. Cts spawn near a controlable apc while ts spawn where cts spawn on original siege. Escorting the VIP on this map is hella fun, defenitely recommend it.
This video is refreshing. While im no ex valve employee i can relate to the entire team of juniors making hot trash and still finding a way to get paid. I just need to get to the getting paid part.
it's a shame this game was slagged so much, it's fun as hell. games should look like games, you can totally put up with the jank. now, the monetization, that was crap.
