Byron Donalds is a "useful idiot" and a "Judas goat". The decreased marriage rate is down across the board with all races. There are many reasons. Women are more employed and self-sufficient now. They don't "need" a husband. In 1974, women were given the right to have their own credit cards WITHOUT a man's signature. Religious adherence is down now. So, marriage rates are lower among whites, Blacks, Hispanics, etc. It has NOTHING to do with Blacks being out from under Jim Crow, nor LBJ's "Great Society".

I can see maybe letting Donbas and Luhansk remain under Russian control but there has to be a cost for pursuing a military solution over a diplomatic one for Russia and giving up Crimea I believe best fits that ideal, not too harsh and not too lenient. To not return Crimea to Ukraine would in effect reward Russia and demonstrate to the world that launching a war of conquest can go consequence free for an aggressor nation when since 1945 it consistently has not. If we let this go it will invite further aggression throughout the rest of world while simultaneously grow the resentment between Ukraine and Russia guaranteeing a future war over Crimea. It's better to let Ukraine have Crimea back so that some degree of normalization of relations between Russia and Ukraine can resume to decrease the possibility of further conflict. Otherwise Crimea will be the Alsace-Lorraine simmering in the minds of the Ukrainian people which in the most extreme possibility could see a future Ukrainian state being an aggressor nation on the basis of the idea that the loss of Crimea represents a national humiliation in need correction at all costs for Ukraine to regain it's pride. The territories of Donbas and Luhansk have been so throughly damaged and so Russofied over the past 10 years that it would be a greater burden for the Ukrainian state to take on with so much of the rest of the country needing to be rebuilt, let the Russians deal with the mess they created there.

I'm no youngster (I'm 64) and the more I learn and understand climate change, the more I realise how existential it is (and, believe me, I was really ignorant before I started to do the research - embarrassingly so.)
