Replacing the engine and turning down power output via a software upgrade to the ECU. I am sure the main bearing cap issues had all to do with debris in the engine……. “Rights”….. (insert doctor evil’s voice here)
Soooo this is caused by corporate greed, the publics stupidity to continue to pay the prices, Trump took away laws and regulations that stopped protecting the public from predatory lending, and bank greed. Plus the failure of capitalism. Manufacturers realized that they make more money charging as much as they can because we pay it.
@@flashnmb1 lmao, I was 15 when that came out. It's all skewed in stupid ways, with middle seat space and road noise somehow trumping everything else. A company can make the quietest SUV with the most amount of space, but if it's a gas guzzling beast with a ton of blind spots that breaks down every three months I'm not going to buy it. I'm not a huge fan of SUVs in general, and I wish well designed minivans and wagons were more prevalent. If I needed a ton of space for my family I'd buy a van that allows me to see a kid playing in front of it. Companies don't have to adhere to the same safety regulations with SUVs which is one of the reasons there are so many, most of which have terrible safety issues like roll overs and poor crash survivability.
Or why not just not buy a car all together and rent a car for a trip. That,s what i,m doing. I never owned a car and looking at where the car market is heading, i should stick to my traditions. 😅
Yeah man, shit's crazy right now. I went to look into buying a second-hand F-Type R, and even with an 830 (you read that right) credit score, they were like "yeah, that's 9% interest". Keep in mind, I already own a Porsche Macan GTS, and my interest rate on that was 5% . . . on a second-hand Macan. So yeah, no thanks.
If you shop around, you can find some real bargains, especially with people trying to offload them for the latest model. Having a clearer picture of the cost shouldn't be a problem.
That's a good point. I've been talking to ERIC PAUL ELMER, my financial advisor, to make sure it's a smart move. He's helping me figure out if it fits into my long term financial plan
That's what l'm leaning backward a little. But the more I think about it, the more I feel like I could use some professional guidance. There are so many options, and I don't want to make a mistake.
And as for supply, really depends on the brand. My local Toyota dealer (Puyallup, WA) has next to nothing except for a handful of trucks. Hybrids? None. Their lot is 2/3 empty
Luckily rates are dropping (see Feds lowering a 1/2 point now and probably again soon) unemployment is low and dropping and inflation is as well. Now it was bad enough that more is needed but at least its clearly trending the right way.
It's not just the prices of new cars and late model used cars. It's the quality and reliability. No one wants to pay $100K for what is a disposable vehicle that will need replacement or major repairs in a few years.
I remember seeing a Toyota special edition truck back in line 2013 with a USED price tag of $87k meanwhile we had a 2013 GT-R PREMIUM on the showroom going for $83k at the same time...... HOW BIZARRE
How can you say the 2024 Nissan ARMADA and then post the 2025 model and I have never heard anyone complain about their ARMADA or an ARMADA in general .. People love V8 engines ... I sware I am unsubscribing from this channel cause everything is always done for clicks when you are misinforming people ... Nobody listens to Car & Driver , and Consumer Reports they don't know anything and only posted based on who they get financial support from ...
2023 Tundra owner here. I have had no problems with my truck and i am also a lifelong Toyota junkie. The best warranty is the one that a manufacturer will stand behind and Toyota always has... unlike Ford that trys to skate out of it (my experience) and Chevy where they have no clue what to do and try to put you in a new one instead of engineering a solution. I am a retired auto technician and i will stay with my Toyota...always.
This is something I will say, time and time again. If the CELICA, didn't exist, Supra would have never seen the light of day... AND ON TOP OF THAT, The Celica, is a BETTER, sports car, than the Supra.
He says DON'T BUY XQ80 They have paywalled features Only to say DO BUY to the EV9 that also have Paywalled features (He doesn't mention that, average car dealer or just doesn't know) if you test drove ANY of those vehicles instead of relying on CR 90% of the time, your video wouldn't be the one Idiots ironically listen to
I had a 2017 Lincoln MKZ, I put over 150,000 before I trade it in, it's a great car, just kept up with the maintenance, and had a blast with it. I have the twin turbo v6, stock 400hp. Really reliable cars. Definitely a car to look into
I drive a 2013 hyundai genesis coupe. Sofar mine has been solid but seems almost daily people post in the groups about their engines blowing up. 2.0t and the 3.8s
Times have changed, vehicles are infinitely more complex than they used to be. And because of that, Toyotas are not as reliable as they used to be. Plus many are now made in Mexico
