Not got the blower but I use the big blue towel and detailer. It has massively improved the look of the car! I have not been disappointed in any of the products and tips I have got from Yum Cars👍
I hadn’t tried the citrus to pre wash, I just a used Wheels, undress and wheel foam. So with winter approaching I will add this step to my routine, 👍 DT
Thanks for this Nick!! After watching this video I not only use this method, but I’m doing the two bucket method for my wheels, and I can confirm you get much less dirt in the buckets 🪣 than if you only use one bucket or not rinse the brushes between contact cleans. Btw…when is Yum Cars going to release a dedicated wheel bucket?
Hey! Happy that this has helped and that you use the correct method in your regimen. We are still working on our V2 bucket packages, so this will make an appearance some time in the future.
I agree, this ceramic thing has never sat well with me. Can I just ask out of curiosity, I’ve just looked at three different large car care supply shops and I noticed none of them stock your products. Is this because of your honesty and info about what’s really happening? Because presumably they wouldn’t sell all these products if this was the case 😮
@@Jagz.X yes it is always strange that these retailers never approach us yet proceed to stock and promote brands that openly do not care. But our ethos remains the same, we do not want to be in every corner shop but work with the best people who actually love and care what they do Hope you enjoy the products when you get the chance to use them
@@YumCars Yeah, this was my curiosity. A friend even said to me the other day the companies who aren’t always in every shop are usually the ones to go for 😃 I’m sure I will!
Blow drying the car first is a must. Cleaning up any drips & jams with either Detailer or Ceramic diluted 1:1 is my go to! Thanks for the great video Nick!
I blowdry the various gaps, mirrors and wheels(only when they're absolutely spotlesss first!!), then use the Yum drying towel with a few sprays of Yum detailer on it and a fine mist on the paintwork and smile at how lovely and slick the drying process has become. I'm really happy with just how easy and quick it is to dry a car properly now. Since I saw your first RU-vid videos and purchased your various products I've begun to clean our cars for the sheer enjoyment of ending up with the shiniest glossiest ones in the street.😇 Yum products should be available on prescription from the NHS as an aid to mental health🤣🤣🤣.PS thanks for the o-rings they've solved the issue👍
I’ve always pre washed alloys as I thought well if I’m doing the lower section of the car might as well carry on to the wheels, and now you’ve proven me right 🙌
@@YumCars hiya, I haven’t tried them all but I tried Gyeon, Carpro, the rag company - a couple, autofiber, Microfibre madness , gtechniq and a few generic ones before the klin Korea one. It’s my understanding that klin make the best Microfibre in the world. Let me know if I’m wrong? Do I have try one of yours now? lol take care man - I love your brand.
@@trifin5772 we explored all factories before we chose ours ( read between the lines coded message here ) it would be best to try all towels before coming to a full educated conclusion
Always good videos Nick, i will start using this procedure when alloys really dirty. Is there anyway to stop the brake rust? Annoying after cleaned and the rust all over the alloys
Yep, I'm a wheel pre washer either Yum Citrus or Yum Wheel Foam on my black alloys, or the last of my Bilt Hamber Touchless on the wife and kids cars. Then a good rinse.
Great video Nick. I always pre-wash my alloys, but I start with the back wheels first due to them being less dirty than the fronts. As a Volkswagen driver myself, I find my Polo's front alloys get caked in brake dust a lot quicker than I'm used to, with my previous posh but tired old Peugeot 206 Roland Garros. They have to be thoroughly washed and blow-dried every week to make cleaning easier and I don't risk scratching them. Undress is still my go-to for de-contaminating tyres.
I pre wash my wheels along with my paint with citrus or citrus infused snow foam or alkaline snow foam then use a wheel cleaner overlaid with a wheel shampoo in my foamer prior to any contact with the wheel with a brush or wheel mitt.
I've just followed this exact method for the first time, as I only got the Wheel Woolies from you a week or so ago (with the Kranzle O-Rings, thank you). It's unbelievable how clean and shiny my gloss black alloys are now. I was also amazed at just how good the YumCars Wheel Woolies actually are. Wheel cleaning has never been so easy or enjoyable as it is now. Thanks Nick.
Hello, I really want the same setup for my garage it’s only for personal use and where can I purchase it please. If you have link for all of the parts would be much appreciated please L.
I use 1 backet for everything. I wash the car with multiple mitts, I wash the wheels in the end with 4 dedicated mitts and the wheel barrels with the water left in the backet while rinsing with this method. No dirty mitt or brush goes in the water. Only all of them go in the backet when I finish to go for laundry. One backet for everything is all it's needed
So im assuming you can use this stuff on any color car but after those 2 products do you need to put anything else? Protective top coat? Or is that it, you should be good and it has hydrophobic properties?
I have 2of this they nice but i prefer the ik ones bc they are 360 and they spray a lot like the pesol but for me I thing the ik is more steady and the 500ml i can use them in smaller areas but again personally both are great the best in industry
Can't compare the 2, I've never had an IK other than a foamer. But the canyon triggers which IK uses aren't great. They're a good dependable trigger but cannot be compared to a Pressol interns of ergonomics, spray pattern and of course the double action. Not to mention Pressol bottles look 10x better if that matters to you.
@@KiranPatel-fk1pgehhh, I have 4 pressols and 5 IKs, so far in less then 6 months I’ve had to put regular tolco sprayers on 2 of my pressols because the triggers stopped spraying correctly, I broke 1 of my IK triggers from it being cheap plastic but none have failed on me, plus I was able to buy a 5 pack of spare IK 360 triggers, as far as the actual bottles go the IK are a lot stronger, the pressol bottles will suction in like a water bottle when using them but do expand back to their shape, I have a few of the obsessed garage pressol labels and they look awesome just wish they were better quality
@@RCdetails203 I've never experienced the vacuum problem. I know they're not as durable interns of withstanding strong chemicals. My point is that the IK is simply a Canyon trigger that IK made a bottle for. Nothing special and many companies sell them. They're nothing special in any regard but they're a good workhorse. Personally I don't use strong chemicals in my Pressols and hence have had no issues. Its like comparing a Ferrari to a Toyota, ones bullet proof the other is problematic but don't drive the same at all. The comfort of the Pressol and the ability the double action trigger is what I prefer about them.
@@YumCars the vacuum thing happens to me when squeezing the trigger a bunch of times in a row I’ve had it happen with ADS tire cleaner a few times, I had rinseless wash in a pressol before and it happened….it’s only happened in the summer when it’s hot and humid, the bigger issue for me is I’ve had 2 triggers stop working correctly in only a matter of months, 1 doesn’t work at all and the other 1 the double action stopped working & it doesn’t spray with as much pressure anymore, both had high products in them
Thank You for this solution. I especially appreciated how you explained everything and got to the point. Because I've been exposed to fumes for the past six months, Ive now developed and allergy to the air from the a.c. I've even installed a new filter to block out the fumes. Is there another way to block fumes? I welcome any insight that you may have. Thank You in advance🤗
Totally off topic here but, i purchased your foam+ and used it yesterday and!!! WOW!! absolutely incredible!! 😍Also your drying aide and towels. TBH i thought the towels were going to be MEH but F**K !! those towels are magic! My wife was laughing at me when i opened it but she could not believe her eyes when i used it. Loyal customer right here.
this is amazing to read! thank you so much! A lot of the industry has been ruined by cheap processes and materials so I can personally understand when you say what you say however we have some very good knowledge on fibre technology and hopefully now that you have used the towels you will understand exactly what I mean
