Located in the heart of Atlanta, the High Museum of Art connects with audiences from across the Southeast and around the world through its distinguished collection, dynamic schedule of special exhibitions and engaging community-focused programs.
This guy hosting was so condescending and uninterested in the conversation it’s wild. Also the choice to talk about race and then leave the cotton logo over Virgil’s head was beyond poor taste
This past summer I saw a piece exactly like this at the Chicago Art Institute? Yet I can find nothing about it on their site. Are they, in fact, the same piece?
In my photographs I was able to read the plaque... so must be duplicate piece >>Private collection, lent in the memory of a boy who liked the Musée Rodin in Paris its sculptures, and its squeaky floors<<

I live in São Paulo, Brazil, but visited the High several years ago. I love these videos sharing part of your exhibits. It's a way to stay close, Congrats to all of you who work at the High,
Hey, i would love to see a video of how you pull your handles. I have a Jerry Garcia and Bob Dylan mug that you made,. Love the handles. I might need Neil Young and Frank Zappa mugs next.
This is so fascinating! Thank you for putting together such an interesting look at Southern photography and asking the important questions of what they represent. Eager to see the exhibit.

Nellie Mae Rowe is my mother in law’s great aunt. Her grandmother and Nellie were sisters. My mother in law spent many summers at Aunt Nellie’s house in Vinings. She and her brother currently have several original pieces of her art. I am just learning this awesome history today. I am blown away. Lol

Cool video! I first learned about this sculpture through the work of a contemporary artist I follow (Christopher Parrott of ATL) but I love this deep dive into Eternal Spring and its relationship to the Gates of Hell...great video shots!!!
