😊 Just finished installing ours on our XLR..!! Absolutely love it..!! I "tapped" into BOTH the running lights, and also the brake lights... I installed a switch in the rear mounted glove box, so that i can switch OFF the windshield light during night time driving, but it keeps working with the brake lights... Best of both options... Love, love, love it..!!
completed my install today. It was pretty easy. Had 2 issues, 1st I broke the screw holding the bracket. I was able to get it out and buy another one. Not sure if it was striped but the 2" screws are way to long. 1 3/4 would be perfect. 2nd tapped into the wrong brown wire. It's a fatter wire in the 2nd bundle. Other then that, no issues and what a huge difference! It's beautiful.
Really enjoy your channel. I would like to know what floor you have in your garage. Also do you have any problem with a 2 post lift and being able to fit it under the corvette
Thank you for watching. The floor is made by Swisstrax and I love that floor. Yes, the 2 Post Lift Works Great and makes it really easy to work on cars not just the Corvette. Sometimes I have to use a jack to get the arms to clear if the customer has lowered their car. But normal stock height works perfect.
Great vid. I like that wing, but I can't figure out how to deal with that on all the Costco runs I make. LOL. Daily driver, C7 Grand Sport, 69K miles and I'm thinking about driving out to you, are you still in business?
Came here with a search to see what's involved with swapping out the manifold over. At 2:50 you can see the driver's side also has a fuel rail that clips in with the rear-most 10mm bolt. You failed to secure this when you re-assembled at 6:50.

thank you scott, i got home from golf the other day and my right side vent was gone, the three screws are still there, it came unbonded from the mounting tabs. hopefully it won't take to long to get another carbon fiber vent
