Being a mid engine, the C8 is certainly going to have different jacking points than we're accustomed to for a front engine vehicle. One would think any Chevy dealer tech would know this.
Real Professionals ( Technicians ) do ! The problem is juniors are put on the lube rack and haven't been trained or supervised properly. Dealers and or the aftermarket do not like to pay licensed technicians to do oil changes it's all about their profit margins.and getting you in and out and onto the next. Not alot of money in an oil change and you cant find alot of CP work on a new vehicle. Being a corvette owner / enthusiast or any other car doesnt make you a technician.
Looking at video.. the vette fell with the rear first..meaning that the mid rear engine is heavier then the front..or else they didn’t level the car to have the same balance from front to back. If i every took my vette for dealer to service..I recommended them using a drive on lift rather then the one on the video. Jacking plucks only good for home DIY jobs using low profile jack.
