Nice Video !! I have an R8 Uniden,,,, in MN we have to legally mount on Dash,,,,dont know if there is a good way,,,the dash on a C8 has many sloped areas and its leather,,,not sure how i am going to do this !! any ideas from anyone ?? thanks
I am about to get my corvette C8 2024,I bought uniden R8 ,Ive heard this type of installation can fry your mirror. GM has released a bulletin about it . If you install a radar if something happens your are out of luck . I am getting C8 2LT Convertible ,not sure if I want to risk it
there are three connection points, in the rearview mirror assembly, red, black, gray if you plug one of the wires into the gray that will short out the driver side rear view mirror, thereby causing the problem that you’re worried about. He may not have answered your question because he tends to only like to respond to things where they send him free equipment and merchandise.
