Um use a scuba diving compressor 4500 psi and a tank for nitrogen replace the valve with one that is used for combustable fuel. Place the tank in a hole fill with ice to lower temp to zero. Liquid methane. Now at 4500 psi in liquid state is stable and can hold weeks of fuel per tank.😊
Flip upside down due to methane being lighter than air (oxygen), so upside down the methane would float to the top, which is the bottom, and the valve at the bottom would be able to release the compressed air in the bottom where the valve is, might have a easier time purging and wont be releasing and of the collected biogas. Thank you very much i enjoy your content
I'm late to the party, but like the video. A couple things: sodium hydroxide is NAOH (Caustic Soda) , Bleach is NaClO (Sodium HypoChlorite Soln). Not sure which you prefer. Also, I was concerned about the combustion point of biogas under pressure, and would like to suggest cooling your compressor with water while compressing the gas. Thank you for sharing!
Isn’t it possible to just run a hose from the air mattress, and go right to the propane stove? (I think the orifice needs to be enlarged, though, for the gas stove to work properly, eh?!?) Good video, as usual! Thanks, brother!
You need to consider that these types of nutrients don’t wash away easily or get locked up. One of the reasons salt nutrients have high ratios is because they get washed away easily and get locked up. Also it’s what’s not in it like nitrate forms of nitrogen that make it good.
My name is Mike. I have a method you'll like. It makes your generator safe. It's cheap. I've been doing conversation of gasoline to propane. My goal was to make it safe. Everything you were talking about I learned. Be Careful of running engine too slow because it will eat the brushes. But this all is exactly what I have been working on. With what I know now I wonder if I can run a v 8.
That’s a good idea using the air compressor like that. I never would’ve thought of that cause you want to compress it but they have one of those things for getting out air conditioning things don’t know if you can use it, but it does the same thing.
Great effort pretty work, now my question is what's the weight of biogas in a 12.5kg propane cylinder bottle. Is it the same weight in KG or biogas is more denser.
Can you do a manual and circulate it for us to read? Appreciate the compressing demon. When the the tank is full, does the compressor automatically shut-down or do we have to monitor the pressure guage manually and shut it down when assume it is full? How do you measure the content of your biogas tank direct from the digestor? What is the ratio of bleach mixed with water to filter the biogas from sulphur or other contaminants?
Waaoo this good like the video. What is the recommend BIO-GAS complessor that compress only bio methene gas into a cylinder 45kg. Please can you recommend a very good one and where can one get it to buy
I have been wondering if a underlying reason for the WEF and climate groups push to eliminate cattle farming is because of the power of using biogas and the clean fuel alternative that exists outside of propane and nuclear.
To clean up the bio gas use a filter that has some steel wool and some NaOH bleach solution to destroy the SO2. Then filter through some charcoal to remove some unwanted compounds. Next compress to a tank that can purge moisture and have the gas flow through a dryer and CO2 scrubber made of MgSO4 and dry NaOH. Then have a fine filter and compress into the tank. You will be left with clean methane of about 95% purity about 5% CO2.❤
The biogas must be dried and cleaned of H2S to store it like that. The pressure needs to be regulated as propane liquefies at a lower pressure than methane will. Also the coefficient of expansion is higher so you will want more head in the bottle. It's better to use the bigger size bottles. At 500 liters at stp of propane you will want about 70^ of that for a safe fill of methane in the tank.❤
I’d like to buy an old beaten banged up carbureted engine car and see if I could make enough gas to run that for three or four days a week to town and back? Or maybe run a small generator long enough to charge a very large battery bank on cloudy overcast days
