I started playing smite a lot this last month, after a year or so. First time around I didn’t play that much. Now I’ve gotten pretty good. I’m not the best but I’m consistently above average, still learning some gods. The amount of hate messages I get when I’m playing my role well and putting up good numbers is crazy. It’s so toxic. I don’t want to throw stupid accusations but I get the feeling that most Smite players are overweight virgins. I’ve thought hard about it and I can’t think of a better explanation. It’s a frustrating game and losses sucks, conquest game can last an hour, but the hate and anger is insane.
I have checked Steam and I have spent over $5,000 over the years in Smite. I would really not mind if they did the 50% off thing for new skins and 100% off for ported skins until I have gotten the value that I have spent on Smite. You also get the gems you got for free. If you login every day, you get 50 Gems. In a year, you get 2600 Gems. That is alot given for you for free in a year. If you did that every day for 10 years, that is 26,000 Gems. This is more than $300 you get for free. I think their way of doing this is more than reasonable.
This is one of the last seven achievements that I still need before I "100%" SMITE 1 (or, at least as far as my own goals go), and... yeah. I don't need to explain how much I'm dreading it, especially given I don't have a full squad to queue with me. (No shade to you for doing so fwiw). I'm reasonably certain it was originally intended to be like Bellona or Ravana's similar achievements (lt's worded the same way) but was programmed incorrectly and HiRez just don't care enough to fix it. Hells, I found a post on reddit ONE WEEK after the achievement was added, reporting that the achievement was only tracking kills in individual matches, and it just... never got fixed. Bear in mind this achievement was added with Terra's realease. In 2016. Also, man... the F6 at 14 kills was heartbreaking. The fact that you got back up in into it so soon is legit admirable, you're certainly stronger that me. I got to 12 on the similar Odin achievement before an F6 and didn't touch Odin for half a year! Not gonna lie though, seeing you get this kinda got me hankering to get back into the achievement grind. :D
A bit confused how you came to both of these conclusions - I never claimed Bauble is the most controversial item, just that it was ONE of the most controversial - Only 6 of the 15 kills in the run were truly set up, not even close to “each kill” Did you watch the video?
I unlocked this earlier this year and popped off. I basically gave up on achievements after finding out Loki's assassinate achievement is very bugged, maybe impossible to get right now. If someone could confirm I would appreciate it and some clarification on exactly how it works
The wording on a ton of achievements is very misleading, I think for the Loki achievement you’re talking about they need to be kills from your ultimate. At least that’s what some are saying in certain online forums I found
@@biackeyesmite6438 Yeah, I've had many kills from behind with my ult before in games like even 5 at one point just in case the others didn't count. Either the detection on hitting from behind is very finnicky or it's just bugged. My guess is that after they changed Loki ult it somehow messed with the detection of the achievement. I have looked at many forums and haven't found any sort of confirmation whether it matters which hit of the ult you kill with, if the achievement works or even if anyone has gotten it in the last 5 or whatever years. In general it's just a mess. But it's been a couple patches since I tried so maybe it's been fixed to work more clearly, idk.
Just got recommended this video and I'm proud to say I found an absolute hidden gem! This was a really fun watch through and by the time you reached the final kill, my heart was probably beating as fast as the one in the video XD Great job on the edits and congrats on the monumental achievement! It's awesome to still see smite 1 creators enjoying the game. Keep up the great work!
@@biackeyesmite6438 I wanted too before smite 2 tbh but I haven't really played smite in about a month with the announcement if smite 2 it kinda made me not wanna play 1 in a way similar to when there's a few weeks to till a new season. That and people have been playing a lot of off role picks and that infuriates me lol. I live smite and I know that it's just game etc so I don't bm anyone or anything I just don't wanna deal with it. Also for the record I do play other gods a lot actually lol.
Nice job, nice to see you doing another achievement video, I watched the first one last week. Btw, about “boosting” for achievements, some L just don’t care enough, like killing five enemies with one ability, it’s stupid, basically you either get lucky on assault, get help from ares or be a god and lucky enough to get all of them together or reset ult on them
Thank you’ And yea some of them are really dumb, but honestly figuring out how to complete some of the seemingly bullshit ones are kind of like a puzzle and can be fun to find consistent strats to achieve them
Final Form is actually painful. I've been trying to grind it out for days, it just doesn't seem possible sometimes lmao. Edit: Apparently there is a bug where heimdals ult landing killing can count towards it, though I haven't seen it done apart from in clips.
While i agree with you about boosting removing the spirit of achieving something, i do believe it has its place on the table. I think that while still technically possible, you're basically playing over and over looking for a different rng, team not surrendering on a good run, etc. and some people may not find it fun to have their chances robbed or their kills stolen. Also while it's not the enemies handing you the achievement, having a 5stack fully support you is boosting. Some people might not have a god squad willing to support them and hunt for that perfect game and would rather just net the achievement and focus on others. Really impressive regardless, no hate that was awesome. I think the most i got was 8 kills solo in conquest with 5 misses/kills stolen, which is my biggest gripe about this achievement is that your teammates basically have to soft throw for you to get it. It's just not fun because it feels like one miss or kill stolen costs you the entire try and thats 40 min gone basically. It does feel like it's possible, but it's better off boosted one way or the other at least in my opinion. Still dont have the achievement tho xD
Appreciate the kind words! I think the RNG is part of the fun though. It makes the “good” lobbies much more meaningful because you really need to focus and lock in when you find one, but there is a threshold where it’s too much and becomes unfun. I just don’t think the “RNG” in this challenge passes that threshold We can just agree to disagree that what I’m doing is in the same conversation is literally being gifted the achievement. I can see your point, but doing this achievement completely solo is so absurd that I don’t think asking for help makes the achievement any less rewarding.
It’s easy smite has a bunch of losers beta ppl who feel safe talking 💩 online because they can’t do it in real life because they know they can’t cash that check
See, the only skin I really care about that I bought, is Geb's Optimus Prime skin. Thing is, if I want him transferred, all three need to be, & they're a license skin, so the chance is either low or maybe zero.
Most RU-vid Gamers don't have a real brain. "What does vvgl mean?" Well, it's time to start using your 5th grade problem solving skills...it means, good luck!
As a new smite player that is not experienced in this game, i have some thoughts. I have now played, or atleast tried all the gods in smite. Alot of my friends are also new. When we think about easy gods we think a bit differently. Just gods that we can easily do alot of damage on and grasp their kits, and win jousts together. Assassn: It is Thor for us. As new playes most other assasins are kind of hard, and he is more like a warrior. Warrior: Guan Yu Guardian: Ymir Mage: Hades, by far. Then Ra probably Hunter: Artemis, and Neith at second. This is our easiest gods that we perform best on because of simplicity, and atleast us "new" players agree on these. They are often kind of tanky and not very gimmicky.
most people play smite on crappy rigs or the most high end rig you can think of with graphics turned all the way down i mean seriously, who the hell are they marketing this game for?
I like smite and play it on ps4 but that community is toxic im new and im not always bad with my charscters but once they hear your new they become aggressive instead of giving advice and always quick to report and bully the new people.
Would love teammates like yall. Instead i always end up with people that have no team comp. Choosing non support for support. Leaving mid fight cuz they got hit one time and think they might die
Whats funny is Hirez could of told everyone no legacy gems. But they did.. technically losing them money.. those who are crying over it are ungrateful and shouldnt play
no the hate is earned you dont get to have people spend a fuck ton of money and then give us the middle finger and say you want your skins will to bad not happening fuck hirez and smite 2 is 100000000% a scam
It's kinda funny though. ''Pay us more money, so you can get what you already bought 100%'' Sounds like ransom ''Pay us the money if you wanna see your daughter again'' 🤣
Compare counterstrike global offensive to CS2 and smite to smite2 and youll realize how much of a money grab this is. Very shameless hirez.. very shameless...
People in the Smite community are quite possibly the most low IQ people I’ve ever met, seriously. What do you expect from a Free to Play game, though? This ain’t an issue in expensive video games and yes, the poorer a people gets the worse off they are in terms of morals and mental health. I don’t feel sorry for them though, nobody gets an excuse for being a literal Monster.
As someone who also got angry many times for having bad teammates (but I never wrote stupid comments to them) I still prefer teammates who mess up over toxic teammates who look down on others, insult them and make fun of them. Last night I played with my brother and we actually had a person on our team who got pretty arrogant for having the most kills and damage in our team. They started to make fun of my brother who was struggling on Mid-Lane during early game. And to make things worse: Later our Support joined in and they started to bully him together. I'd really rather team up with a feeder who doesn't feed on purpose than having an asshole in my team who looks down on others because he has the most kills. -.-
I feel that I play conquest a lot but I recently stopped playing it and went to joust because I couldn’t even try a new role anytime I try a new role in unranked someone starts spam pinging me or calling me a useless ape and I should delete the game so I just disconnect everytime and it sucks
@@arpho4314 You can mute everything that comes from other players to avoid insults and everything else from teammates who aren't in your party (including VGA and pinging). I've got the impression that things got less toxic - at least for me - after muting the chat but there are still these "You Rock, cancel that iditots" who appear sometimes. If you mute everything, you'll avoid all toxic behaviours from other players but that would make it difficult to properly play as a team. It's disgusting how people are treated sometimes for not being perfect. I hope you'll get kinder teammates in the future and can enjoy Smite again!
