Thank you for reacting to Felip's album & supporting him. Bravo & kudos, Felip for the favorable & phenomenal results concerning the release of your authentic, exploratory, diverse & artistic album entitled "7Sins". ACHE is actually my favorite in the latest album release of KEN/FELIP entitled 7 SINS. It's so raw, gut-wrenching, honest or emotionally engaging, challenging & exhausting until you find some degree of hope or redemption in the process, especially with the kids singing in chorus. Whew, so emotionally-charged & relatable, indeed, that it was impossible for me to hold back my tears while listening to the song. Congratulations, Felip as the song & its lyrics truly provokes our mind until it creeps to & touches our very heart & soul with you singing your heart & soul out..God bless & Godspeed, our anak, our palangga, our manok & our ultimate bias, Ken aka Felip Suson. Listen to Felip's 7Sins album with such thought-provoking & emotionally-charged & loaded songs like ACHE, my personal favorite, alongside equally engaging & endearing selections like Greed, Envy, Sloth, Lust, Foes, Wrath & Gluttony. Once again, congratulations, anak: #7sins #7SinsOutNow #7sinsalbumconcertinjuly #SB19_KEN #FELIP #FelipJohnSuson #FelipSuperior #SUPOORIORSISIW
🎉🎉🎉 The Barefoot Princess - (From her book, television and radio interviews, and podcasts made between 2014-2015. Includes excerpts from her diary made that day in 2012.) Why does Angelina sing barefooted? Angelina Jordan is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz," amongst many other names. She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio performance. The story is that while living in the Middle East, at 6 years old, Angelina came across an orphaned girl, of her own age, sitting in the street, weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina said to herself, "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred and that it was cold outside, so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina says that she really loved her shoes, as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them. But she saw the other little girl’s need for them, which outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them. Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle, but the ruins of a building next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world, "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true, you have to remember the poor children without shoes; and I will pray for you Angelina.” Later that day, 6 y/o Angelina wrote in her diary, "The world is very strange. Right then and there, I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.” From that point on, Angelina takes off her shoes, in honor of ‘Princess’ and all the other less fortunate children of the world, who are orphaned, hungry, or in want of even basic clothing. In 2015, at the age of 9, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter, as everyone continued to ask why she sang barefoot. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani, created the artwork for the book. So at 9, Angelina Jordan became the youngest published author in Norway. Angelina has performed alongside many other artists, raising attention and helping to raise over 21 million euros and millions of dollars for children in need.
There are like 5000 bars in this song Right off the bat you even have to consider when he said "spitfire bitch I was just flying coach" A spitfire is a WW2 attack plane from the UK. He is just trying to see if his boys can spit rap bars with him as the coach. And from there it has quadruples or more for every bar
Angelina’s maternal grandmother Mery Zamani has had tremendous influence on Angelina and her career as she introduced Angelina to jazz at early age. From Republic Records bio, Angelina said “Today, I sing barefoot as a reminder of all the kids in the world who need help and support.” See Angelina's book "Mellom to hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) for background story of 6-year old Angelina meeting shoeless girl to whom Angelina gave her shoes. 🥰 Yeah taught I guess, self taught too. 🤷♂You can't teach that to a kid, not even close. But sure, Waldorf school of music, prestigious music school in Norway from age 5 I think. Teachers of all kinds I'm sure. But the real story is somehow a 3 year old knew she wanted to be a singer when she grows up. 🤷♂, 3. And a real passion. She was legit trying to sing while learning to talk at 1.5 years old, it's on video, on youtube, 🤷♂️. So it's just kind of all of that, and clearly her passion, she found earlier than I was even conscious, was a real fit too. But certainly any kid that great, would be self taught, no question. You can't teach 30 year Old's some of that. Everything else was just good love, good help. What she got taught was mostly music theory, and protecting her voice while it grows I imagine. This here is her going ham and exploring her passion for 6 years already. At a very important age yet, formative.
I think im okay is onnthe original version of Hotel Diablo which came out 5 years ago. This version just added a few new songs aside from Bullets with Names which came out in early 2020. The sad versions are just the acoustic versions of the other songs
The stars and planets aligned when Angelina Jordan was born. The journey of an artist can indeed be profoundly affected by their socioeconomic background. Angelina Jordan's financial stability has arguably given her the freedom to explore and express her creativity without the immediate pressure of financial survival. The most profound individual in AJ’s life, according to her, is her grandmother, Mery Zamani, artist/poet extraordinaire who’s knowledge, wealth and genius have tutored AJ, and cultivated her unbelievable talent. This is a luxury not afforded to all artists, and the music industry is replete with stories of immensely talented individuals who have faced immense pressure to succeed financially. This pressure can sometimes lead to a tragic struggle with substance abuse, as seen in the cases of Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse. Their legacies serve as a stark reminder of the potential consequences of the immense pressures of fame and success in the music industry. It's a complex tapestry where talent, personal circumstances, and external pressures interweave to shape an artist's career and personal life.
Summer breeze, or typhoon, AJ performances have the gravity of Jupiter. Angelina Jordan's musical prowess is evident in her dynamic range of performances. Her collaboration with Toby Gad on the song "Bad Valentine" showcases her ability to deliver powerful vocals, and song writing skills that resonate with her audience. Meanwhile, her restrained performance at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony highlights her versatility and sensitivity to the context of the event. Jordan's ability to convey deep emotion through her music, whether it's the raw energy of "Bad Valentine" or the poignant subtlety of "Unchained Melody" performed at the Nobel tribute, allows listeners to experience a profound connection to her artistry. Her performances are not just about vocal talent but are a testament to her understanding of the power of music as a universal language of human expression.
Natural born talent. But sure, thats not nearly enough. For her, singing is an obession since age 1,5 y. So she had 8 years of daily practice at that point. Very few of what she learned was taught by someone, or even can be taught. And that yearning to become better, its an itch thats never seems to fade for her.
Ache is much awaited by Felip's fans. He posted a snippet of the song more than a year ago. Ever since fans have been requesting him to release the song. #FELIP #FELIP_Ache
