Bloody good retro fan mate! Buy far the best retro big fan Buy country mile! At my nursery back in 90s we had one of these beauties screw already on a wall in my class mate
I bought one of those and am going to wire it up directly to the mains. Can you tell me how I can tell which of the 2 wire is live and which is neutral because theyre both black
@@Dogescoobysnac That sounds like the oscillator prong has become stuck if it won’t pull up to disengage, if you remove the motor cover it may just want greasing again so it doesn’t seize, alternatively you could just remove the prong altogether and it would stop the oscillator
1:01 thats not a 90s fan, taiwan stop making fans for other countries in 1990 so it might be a lat 80s (1989) which is odd as it has the smc blades (like the 3 others)
Nice selections of your vintage pedestal fans bro. I bought a LLOYTRON 18 INCH pedestal fan over 2 weeks ago. Its from the 1990s I made a video if you have time bro please watch and comment? Thank u. Great video brother
Oh yes facebook marketplace is almost always got some bargins. Ususal issue is the location of the seller lol. 1990s pedestal fans may not be the greatest but they certainly much better than a modern pedestal fan, and can be found for cheaper. Also for that point of 90s pedestal fans being so common I do feel like smc fans do make up a big chunk of 90s pedestal fans since they sold so many. That is why I do recommend any non fan collector an smc fan since they are so common and easy to find. And they typically cost very little.
@@Connectitthefancollector yes I agree, the SMC’s are always a safe recommendation as an all round decent fan for anyone and can be found in almost any size
I should send you my homemade desk fan. For a while I searched for a small desk fan and was disappointed with the performance of literally every single one I tried. So...I built my own. 24v motor, aluminum fan, custom enclosure. Can even be used as a filter for dust.
Hi I have a Vordice Nordic 30 oscillating fan in full working condition. I am interested in selling and wondering how to go about it. Would you be interested in buying
Hi @@suzannedrinkwater8436, thank you for the kind offer of your Vortice Nordik. Since I have already got one, I’m afraid I’ll have to pass. However if you had the means to box it up and post it, you could sell it on eBay easily for between £30-40 at least, as they seem to be quite sought after!
