Hey! I'm a car nut! I buy em, build em, drive em, and sometimes make some videos about them too! Soo many great cars out there and so little time! Follow along and kill some time with me! Cheers!
Too many people driving down the road with their eyes on the screen, just trying to do simple things that at one time were easy to do with your eyes on the road! I will be replacing my IS 350 F-Sport and purchasing an LC once the wife's 23 RX in paid for.
I really like license plates, unfortunately I’ve noticed that a lot of states don’t offer “retro license plates”, like from the 80s, 90’s, and 2000’s, u might be able to get an “antique/classic” plate, but usually they don’t fit the vibe of these cars. Like I live in Florida and it be coolest thing ever to drive my 91 rx7 with a plate that says “Challenger”, but nah state says I can’t do that. 😢
my dream car, i just wish by the time i graduate and get the money for such a masterpiece of a car that it's still in production and i can buy it. even if something better comes out, it still wouldn't be the same...
How did you separate the middle clip in the wheelwell where the side marker is? Its bolted in from behind and I’m struggling here. I didn’t see it mentioned in the video.
I appreciate the feature, however I often enjoy seat heat on my lower back regardless of other temps, so it's still requires manual on/off of that function. 😎
The last black plate I ordered took 2 months! Thats how popular they are! You better be getting a kick back. 😉 Johnny is the hero we need, but not the hero we deserve!!
Sold it about a year and a half ago to a friend. He's sold it since then as well....I think it lives in Seattle/Portland area these days. Honestly, if another clean popped up, I'd consider buying another! Great trucks!
I had a 2020 LC and I loved it. I eventually traded it in and got an R8 because it has always been my dream car but I do miss the Lexus (hence me watching this video). I was probably asked 20 times if it was an LFA as well lol. It pains me to hear that they did away with the V8 version. They are really screwing up all the good cars. Great review and it looks great lowered. I hated the center console. I actually broke it a month after I got it and I would have to replace the whole inside to fix it 😔
Thanks kindly! Funny, I had the R8 prior this car, definitely two different animals. We still have the V8 version LC500 being sold in the US, I didn't hear it went away in other parts of the world? Going on four years now with my LC500, still can't shake it! It compliments the F430 well (but the LC is more comfortable, ha ha). Cheers!
The snorkel is just ornamental (mentioned in the vid), thanks and best of luck on yours! I've seen a few people having similar built rides these days 👍
I know several people that own much more expensive and exotic comparable cars, and their reviews after two years are not nearly as favorable. The dependability and maintenance cost are usually the primary reasons. LC 500 is a fantastic value IMO 👍
This and the v8 c63 coupe are just something special. The sound and the comfort. Its not about going fast, its about cruising changing gears and hearing the pops and crackles. thats what you love more than performance.
Hello, I have a 2005 mini s convertible that I was thinking of doing something like this. Kind of a dune-buggy with a roll cage, lift, and maybe eventually a k24 swap with the CR-V awd. how does the front wheel drive do off-road?
Great tires all around in any weather. Long-lasting, deep tread, not super heavy, and not noisy. I've literally purchased about 6 sets of these for various vehicles and still run them on my 200 Series Land Cruiser. I believe there's a new version out this year (AT4?) Haven't tried those yet. Cheers!
Only you can make that determination! 😜 see if you can take a LC500 on an extended test drive and really feel it. It's definitely more of a GT car but they are amazing! Best of luck, either way, your RC is an amazing car as well! 👍🏼
Pleasantly stumbled upon this video after watching the fantastic "2 year LC500 ownership experience" video. You mentioned owning a Ferrari one day and here we are. Funny how life works! Thank you for posting and sharing your experience. Appreciate it! P.S: Looking forward to the video on your new business adventure which you mentioned. Best of luck!
I've driven one of those 430s on track before. Loved how it drove. Funny, you have an LC and a 430. Two cars I'd like to own. I'm working on the LC now, that's an easy ownership experience. I'm not sure how I feel about Ferrari ownership experience, but who knows, maybe I'll eventually change my mind. Glad to see you're still putting out great content.
