This is what Knots Landing did best. This was NOT an end-of-season cliffhanger. This was just a weekly episode and the ending was completely unexpected. This is just like the "Eye of the Beholder" episode. Again, not an end-of-season cliffhanger, but suddenly, Linda, a pretty prominent character is gone forever. And that one is much more gruesome.
Lynne Moody is still stunningly beautiful. In a very soapy twist, saw on an episode of Tamron Hall a while back that the daughter she gave up for adoption as a teen located her and she is a grandmother now to a family she thought she would never be blessed to know. Her daughter says she grew up watching her on shows like this.
I had forgotten about the Meg Story. I remember Greg crying when Laura died like it was yesterday. It broke my heart and i hadnt thought about it since it aired originally until today.

This was one of Knots' best cliffhangers. But it could only have been written in the 80s. Nowadays, a big resort like Lotus Point would have security cameras everywhere, and Abby couldn't have hidden Peter's body without being recorded on multiple cameras. Wonder how the writers would handle this today?
This was my favorite cliffhanger ever, the first time I watched this, I'm like dang who is guilty , besides Jill trying to kill Val, this was probably my second favorite.
Interesting trivia. The cul-de-sac was actually located in Granada Hills, CA. Located about 20 miles NE from the Pacific Ocean. The ocean was actually CGI'd into the opening credits.
I remember 20 years ago in Czech this show was . I didnt watch it all the time it wasnt my favourite but its great . I did not know Danny i just saw him when he was drunked outside Val s house talking nonsence . My grandmother watched it too . And at the scene where Danny was drunk outside Val s house . I asked my grandmother is he evil ? She answered ofcourse and drunked and talking nasty . I liked the scene . And i liked to play on him drunk when i was drinking coce 😂 after years i saw him detaily and i got to say bastard man . Now after years i saw he was drunked outside after he did this to Gary . Was knots landing played in Czeck Republic? I want to hear Danny's Czeck dubbed. Unfortunately they never played it in Hungary. I also wanted to hear Danny's hungarian voice. I am curious who woud have dubbed Danny. I think the Hungarian actor Roland Selmeczi would be the one whose voice would have matched Danny. I don:t understand why It was never played in Hungary.
Ok. Danny is the funniest vicious guy. I am as low as a snake belly😂. Sam Behrens won an award for the outstanding villain. By the way I am curious. When Vall lied to Danny that she was going to see her publisher but he went to see Mac and Danny suprised her at Mac’s office. How on earth did Danny know that she was going to see Mac? Another thing I did not understand: Before Danny died he arrived back with the Taxi when he suprised Julie and before that he was yelling Rapuntzel Rapuntzel. How did he called Rapuntzel 😂?
