I have seen this show when i m searcing something on internet immediately obsessed with this then finished all episodes just 5 days it is one of the best animes i have seen in my whole life up to so far thanks for everyone who brought this series to us with main subject music i doubt about that at first but i was wrong just perfection wonderful story amazing cast excellent job.
When i first heard this i wouldn't think that this was magnificent yes i firstly finished all episodes in 3 days because even in tv there isn't a show like this beauty how can it be thanks for all co workers that we can watch these.
I love how in her flashbacks, Kumiko not only carries the hopes and wishes of the current band but also the hopes and wishes of her senpais that never got to experience winning gold at Nationals
Because she a leader too, so she have to let her ego away. All of that for her club and that really amazing for character. If you start watch it from S1 until this last S3, you will start think how amazing this main character developement. Im glad watch this anime even though I only watched the anime recently 🥲 ...
@@Siesta007 one of my favorites from hibike too. sucks we most likely won't be getting more seasons and/or films from hibike, would love to get so much more of everyone and everything hibike.
this episode made me feel so many different and even conflicting emotions that i don't even know how i properly feel about everything that happened in the very end. this episode 13 of season 3 is so amazing and it's just so emotional and amazing and everything. amazing end to the hibike euphonium anime.
THIS is were I knew Sound! Euphonium was my favorite TV show, animated or not, topping titans like Twin Peaks, True Detective, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and more. Episode 12 was BRILLIANT to say the very least. I was emotionally devastating, but beautifully heartwarming at the same time. Can't believe how alive and genuine these characters feel. Kumiko is one of a kind. That said, guys: Am I the only one who thought Reina made a mistake? People keep saying Reina was SURE that she was NOT selecting Kumiko (she's that cold), but I understood she selected the best one WITHOUT knowing it was gonna be Mayu (maybe even thinking it was Kumiko). Can someone comment?
0:35 Kumiko was the one under the impression that Reina simply picked blindly during the auditions like everyone else. 0:44 However Reina explicitly knew which one is Kumiko during the auditions yet still picked Mayu's solo. "How would I not recognize your sound?" meant that Reina could literally discern it was Kumiko's style of playing purely by listening. I guess it's plausible since they've been playing together since middle school. Similar to music enthusiasts discerning the style of their favorite trumpeter, for example. 0:58 This was the exact moment Kumiko realized that Reina really did knew. Basically during the audition itself since she knew, Reina had to decide between standing by her principles or betraying them so she could grant both their own personal wishes
@@warpatato Thanks, my friend. I didn't want to rewatch the episode and still don't (I think I'm too darn sensitive, took me days to recover from Eupho 3, even when it's not a tragedy at all, haha), so your explanation and a couple seconds of every timestamp you kindly put made me realize the whole thing. I think I missed those lines and especially Kumiko's realization reaction (brilliant...) because I was kind of trying to hold it together after the previous scenes.
Am I the only one who thought Reina made a mistake? People keep saying Reina was SURE that she was not selecting Kumiko (she's that cold), but I understood she selected the best one WITHOUT knowing it was Mayu, maybe even thinking it was Kumiko. Can someone comment?
Nope. Reina immediately knew which one was Kumiko's playing but she chose Mayu for the sake of the competition. As much as everyone want Kumiko & Reina play the soli, their end goal is to win gold which technical > feeling
@@asakithenovice Thanks. I had to hesitantly rewatch the scene at the city viewpoint and how Reina tells Kumiko the truth, Kumiko realizes, and emotional hell lets loose.
maybe change the title to Kitauji's final result? to avoid spoilers cause I've been following the anime since season 1 and I do go on RU-vid to rewatch iconic scenes like Asuka's solo from season 2 and stumbling upon a video that confirmed Kitauji won gold in the end can be anticlimactic cause we're left guessing even until the very end because the anime keeps surprising us
I'm just thinking how much easier the lives of the executives would have been back then if they had an assistant advisor like now. The amount of pressure and responsibilities they had to deal with were insane.
1:47 That creaking on Kumiko's voice 😭 I also can't imagine being in Kumiko's shoes, even being an adult. There's only so much you can put on one person's shoulders especially someone that young. The amount of shit she's expected to do, make the right decisions on and personally deal with in the club is insane, not to mention dealing with her own feelings, desires, frustrations and doubts all the while. That's why it's so gut-wrenching seeing Kumiko scream her heart out. She's sacrificed so much yet cannot be afforded the one thing she wants for herself.
Here is a point where a disagreement shows Kumiko showing a little more understanding and maturity. Reina's single mindedness is good for her but she does not want to realize that others in the band have mixed feelings. She is also still having an unwavering school girl crush on a teacher.
