All my emotions came bursting out when I heard “gold” It’s crazy how you feel so relieved and happy for these fictional characters who became like people and friends you’ve known for so long… and now we have to say goodbye but it was a wonderful journey to come this far. I think we all feel the same, it feels like we were with them for the whole 3 years of highschool, went with them through everything and now its time to say goodbye, but their music will always connect with us. "A part of the journey is the end"
"I'm so happy, I'm going to die" That line is exactly how this scene made me feel. Everything from the music to the micro-expressions on each of the characters, the flashbacks to each of the times they fell just short of gold and the cuts to the third years that graduated without ever achieving it. All of it came together to one of the most emotional climaxes to a series. Never thought I'd cry from them finally getting gold.
This line is also very familiar, isn't it? - "I'm so upset, I could die" - Season 1 Reina It really has come full circle by the end of their 3rd year Bro now im gonna cry (╥﹏╥)
I saw a post about how they made a tribute to the KyoAni victims that died in the fire here in this scene, i cried 😢 beautiful scene and an amazing way to remember them ❤
an anime worth rewatching from s1 up to the finale. a beautiful masterpiece indeed. thanks KyoAni! i cried so much! it was an emotional roller coaster! T_T
this episode made me feel so many different and even conflicting emotions that i don't even know how i properly feel about everything that happened in the very end. this episode 13 of season 3 is so amazing and it's just so emotional and amazing and everything. amazing end to the hibike euphonium anime.
maybe change the title to Kitauji's final result? to avoid spoilers cause I've been following the anime since season 1 and I do go on RU-vid to rewatch iconic scenes like Asuka's solo from season 2 and stumbling upon a video that confirmed Kitauji won gold in the end can be anticlimactic cause we're left guessing even until the very end because the anime keeps surprising us
