What can happen is you're assigned one car, but you end up in a different one and they (the rental company) doesn't properly document the new plate/car info before you leave the rental lot. The last time I rented a car, they called me about a week later asking when I would return the vehicle, and I told them I had returned it on X day, and here's a photo of the mileage etc... But the mileage they had and the vehicle location didn't match, as someone had driven it to another airport in the meantime... Basically, they thought I was in one vehicle, when really I was in a different one altogether and between the security footage and what info I could give them (I always take a picture of the mileage/gas level before i exit the car...) they figured out what happened. They actually worked with me to help find the solution, and clear it up. They were trying to charge me for an additional $1200 and report the car stolen initially. Just took being patient and working w/ them to sort it out. And this wasn't Hertz...
I recommend contacting your credit card company they might be able to help you I know my credit card company has actually been very helpful with a situation similar to this from a Hotel granted I am Canadian and therefor I am under different laws however one time after staying in a hotel they billed me several days later a $100 charge for damagers anyways I called the hotel got told to talk to head office and just more and more run around and BS anyways I called my credit card company to see about filing a dispute with them as I left the room in prefect condition anyways I called my credit card company and talked to them they were actually very helpful and they said they would contact the hotel and open an investigation anyways less than an hour after I get off the phone with my credit card company I get a call form the hotel letting my know they have reversed the charge and will be sending my a coupon for a 50% my next stay I also received an apology email form the head office staying there was an error made in my cases and they have refunded the money ( I know its because my credit card company likely started asking question and likely told them to either make this right or they will) however I highly recommend call your credit card company its even better if you used the same card to buy the gas as they can track the fuel purchase however even if not call your credit card company they might be able to help you or even get your money back I know in Canada credit card companies are often times very willing to help I mean they have ways to get answers a company like Hertz call your credit card company tell them the the situation and everything they might be able to help you
Sorry to hear about your problems. I have been a Hertz customer for 20+ years and never had a problem. Of course, one of the most important rules is to keep the receipt from the gas station before you go back to the airport. Sometimes the rental care employees ask you at the drop-off station to show it. Also, and this may sound stupid, I always take a photo with my iPhone of the gas gauge and the mileage information. I never had to use this in 20+ years to prove anything but one never knows. Your story sounds like this is always a good idea, regardless of which rental car company it's about.
Even if it wasn’t intentional, you showed them proof with bank statement of their mistake. They had the opportunity to keep you as a customer but instead they lost a customer for life over $78. Very poor.
Before you leave the house, find out if your own insurance companies or credit card companies will cover any issues with the rental companies or hotels. Always film your rental car when you get it--especially if you are coming from another state or far enough away that you won't drive to their place of business easily. Record any dents or scratches inside and out. Any dirtiness inside the car. Pay for everything using a credit card or keep receipts--let them photocopy the receipts if they want, but don't give them the originals. Before you return the vehicle, do the same thing with the filming to show the state it was returned, including gas level and mileage. No matter the company, this is good to do while you are traveling for any rentals or hotel rooms. CYA! CYA! CYA! Could save you thousands of dollars!
Idk if you paid for your gas with a debit or credit card. I’ve had luck with my credit card getting me my money back when I submitted proof and to a letter to them. I called first and explained. Your letter of explanation. Your purchase of gas near the airport in Sacramento. Why else would you be buying gas? You send copies of the emails to your credit card company. It might get your money back. They’ll just take it back from Hertz. Your explanation makes complete sense. In the meantime, I’ll tell others about your experience. I’ve used Hertz without problem in Nashville, but will probably use Enterprise in the future. I don’t like corporate fraud. I’m sorry that happened to you. Thanks for the heads up. Good luck.
This video is a huge timesaver. I was about to submit a warranty claim on a knife I bought new a year ago but never carried. Blade would drag constantly and lock intermittently. Thanks!
I turn off my router every night. However, I live in a Condo Unit where it seems that I can not get away from my neighbors own router frequencies, which show up on my devices. Any suggestions?
Oh wow, that is quite the predicament. First I want to thank you for the view. The only thing that I could think of would be to put a fair day type screening on the wall or floor where it is coming through you could do some thing like disguise it behind a picture on the wall, or depending on where it’s coming through on the floor, you could put some aluminum mesh under your bed or under a chair to keep it from coming up through the floor. The wall might be an easier place to disguise it behind a picture or something of that sort.
@@kenshowtosandreviews4320 Living off the grid sounds like the only way to get away from it all. Not to mention those Cell phone towers all over now. I am still connected via DSL, no wireless/satellite, but I am sure some of my neighbors are hooked up to the wireless 5g frequency. Too bad, no wonder so many are going bonkers!
NOOOO graphite and any other Lubricant WILL gunk it up. Maybe not right away but it will. REM Oil is very thin. Even Mineral Oil is too thick. Gunny Glide Magic Oil is only other. REM Oil can be purchased anywhere even at walmart

Various bird species include gnats in their diet, but one species that is particularly known for consuming gnats is the Purple Martin (Progne subis). Purple Martins are insectivorous birds that are skilled aerial hunters. They have a specialized feeding technique where they catch insects, including gnats, in mid-air while flying. They are highly maneuverable and can perform acrobatic aerial maneuvers to catch small flying insects like gnats. It's worth noting that the abundance of gnats can vary depending on the region and time of year. Therefore, while Purple Martins are known to consume gnats, their diet may also include other flying insects like flies, mosquitoes, and beetles.
I noticed that my brain starts boiling whenever i turn the t-mobile 5g home internet router. I immediately canceled the service and shipped it back to them
