Biggest issue is Ottomans not honoring their alliance if Castille attacks you. As long as they do, Castille will never attack you and you can expand into the Magreb, build up a power base and expand into Iberia. Watch Ottoman manpower and war exhaustion.
My man annexing Kiev from Lithuania and saying we are getting closer to Europe xD you started playing in Europe. Europe starts at the Ural mountain range, there is almost the same air distance from Kiev to Urals as it is from Kiev to Paris. Enyoing the show, nice run, cheers!
Always a joy watching your videos. I did the same run, Golden horde into Mongol Empire a while ago and I didnt realize until late 1700s that accepting Japanese culture allowed you the monument in Kyoto for absolutism iirc, and for the SEA islands just cobelligerenting everyone and annexing most of it in 1 war spares you the pain of repeated island hopping. You also have a privilege for the tribes estate that gives like 5 extra absolutism.
What worked for me is having an relatively big army (about 15k) standing in the mountains of gibraltar looking menacely and having 1K sieging down ceuta inviting Morocco to help the siege. Once the straight secured concentrate on Portugal and separate peacing them out of Algarve Beja and Ceuta and then pounding on Castille for a 100 percent peace. After the war Morocco certainly breakes the alliance but do I really care if my next target doesn't want to be my friend anymore?!

Nah. Even when Granada was an OPM without missions, it wasn't that crazy difficult. Streamers and RU-vidrs made it look like that by making some particularly dumb mistakes.
@@Oujouj426 back in the days of Castile + Aragon almost never going to war or rivaling each other, when the AI would NEVER peace out of a war due to length of war... It was definitely much harder. I lost a great attempt back then due to honoring a call to arms, and being stuck in a forever war since AI wouldn't peace out and I couldn't win battles to force it. Oh, and you couldn't get a 100 trust France that would never attack you. Instead, even if you managed to ally them, they would randomly decide they wanted Iberia after being friends for decades.
Grenada was one of my first tags when I started learning this game, along with Pskov. Needless to say I almost stopped playing until I finally picked a bigger tag(Poland) and was able to play the game longer than 10 years
Pskov is secretly really easy though because if you declare indepdence war on 11DEC1444 Muscovy cant actually get to you because they wont get mil access (assuming Lithuiania and Novogorod is a rival) and you just get ticking war score until you can peace them out. You probably need to have a really good understanding of the game to know that though. Then you can annex Novgorod when Muscovy attacks them and get Poland/Lith to beat on Muscovy.

a bit late, but you can conquer Ming and and all of China region, form Yuan (no force-changing to celestial monarchy if there is no China emperor) for another achievement and (optionally) idea set later you still can form Mongol empire thanks for videos :)
Glad to see you back. I also somewhat hunt achievements in EU 4 (274/373, 73%) but to be fair many of them are on the annoying side where you need to do WC/almost WC or wait for the last institution to spawn and late game EU IV is far from perfect... Anyway, it's nice to see your videos, so I have some extra motivation for "grind".
For your world conquest: There is a monument in Sarai, and one in Karak (? I believe. I'm talking about the Petra). Both reduce envoy travel time (25% from Sarai, 33% from Petra), which will be useful for your playthrough. Your missions will also give you the "Khan of Khans" permanent modifier, which grants an additional 25%, so 83% total. Yuan also has reduced envoy travel time in its NI's, so you might consider culture shifting and forming them, before forming the Mongol empire, but it's only 10% (bringing the total to 93%; this last 10% actually reduces the remaining travel time by 50%). This'd also move the Mongol, Korchin, Kalkha, and Oirat culture provinces into the Sino-Altaic group, which is in the Chinese group, letting you accept all Chinese cultures for free w/ Empire rank. Lot of work tho, shifting with such a lot of territory, but you do get a bunch of free admin and CCR because you're a horde, which makes re-stating easy.
You could have peaced out Ming on the 1st of the month whilst mothballing all occupied forts, then attacked one of their Tributaries to drag Ming back into war, occupy the forts that has 0 garrisons for a fast separate peace, to reset the truce or take max money instead of truce breaking
