Basically, everything Adventure Riding. Trips, Gear, Upgrades, and more . This new venture has been a lot of fun. I use this platform to share it with you guys. Enjoy!!!
@@Owjdnskoakansbskk I’m not sure what you mean. My 850 didn’t come with any of those parts I added. You can get a used 310 with upgrades for 5k. I’m not sure about the 800 but my 850 was 15k.
من قارة اسيا من بلاد مابين النهرين (العراق) فيديو جميل شكرا لك على الرغم من انني لم افهم اي كلمة من لغتك 😂❤ From the continent of Asia, from Mesopotamia (Iraq) Beautiful video thank you Even though I didn't understand a word of your language 😂❤
Larry great video. Thank you for tips and Product references, I’m getting my to put on back on my semi. I like your attitude about bike like you said no bike is perfect. Wish you the best and happy riding.
Are you able to adjust the DoubleTake Mirrors in such a way to avoid hitting the Puig Windscreen? I'm using the default BMW mirrors with the Puig windscreen and they hit the windscreen dramatically when the bike is parked. Thanks, Mate!
No, they still hit, but even with the mirrors completely off my hand guards hit the windscreen as well. I have dropped the bike a few times where the handlebars go full lock basically bending the windscreen nothing has broken yet so it’s pretty durable.
Dang man. An alignment on the morning of the event? My heart would have been beating out of my chest. Especially when you somehow got a 2nd shop to do work. Are you coming back for the summer autox?
How did you like the Moto tires versus the Bridgestone's? You mention in a later video (Rally video) that you love them. Which model tires are those, please?
Once uploaded you can’t change the video. But I appreciate the feedback. This was my first video on RU-vid but trying to get better. Thanks for watching. Have a good one.
It's been thirty years since I rode my CBR600 F2 and it's time to get back in the saddle. "This" is the video and aspect of riding that I want to do. Going back and fourth on the Appalachian Trail since I am located in Williamsburg would be a great adventure. Thanks for sharing! Your other video where you explain your build-out of your 310, with hyperlinks, is outstanding! Good job, Mate! Subscribed. :)
Sorry for my probably negative comment, but when you shoot such video and you show your back to the camera, without showing the actual work for the important details, its overall meaningless.
thank you for such a detailed video of all the gear and way you pack. I'm new to all of this and was worried the mosko 80 pack would be too big for the 310gs but here you are going a whole week on it!
Crikey buddy,so glad the 850 didn't land on you dude! 😮👍 How are you liking your F850GS & how often are you having to adjust the drive chain? 🙂 I traded in my Honda CB500F & my G310GS (Same Rallye colours are yours infact)recently for a very similar to yours 2018 F850GS with 10,000 miles on it & so far I'm loving it...Although I'm a total copycat it seems & that's me not even mentioning my latest Rev It glove purchase!!! 🤣😎✌️ Hope you're feeling a little less tender after the off,but having heard your a skater you'll have had many of those before & with no gear on I bet, just like before I hung up my deck & retired from that more dangerous hobby! 😉👍
Yeah, me too. That could’ve been way worse I’m enjoying 850. It’s a lot more comfortable on the longer trips. Definitely not as fun as a 310 in the woods, but still a monster. It really depends on how much I’m riding. I’d say every 500 miles. I’m giving it a little adjustment. I’ll let it go a bit longer and notice it’s pretty loose. Thanks for watching!!
@ADVLARRY I only got rid of my last 2 bikes because I'm going to the ABR Festival at the end of June & I know I'd have possibly hated my baby GS after around 12 hours there & back on 99% motorways & covering 300 miles each way! 🤣👍 I still think I might buy another baby GS in the future, they're such amazing & more than capable than folk think & best of all hilariously great fun! 👍😎
Hi @ADV Larry, big fan of your g310 gs (got myself one as well). On the 2 inch bar risers: did you had any issues with the length of the cables to the controls ? limiting handlebars movement ?
Hey Larry! This is John from The Grand Shamrock Tour, Great Video!! Sorry about the crash but grateful that you are not seriously injured. I crashed my 1250 in Death Valley a few years ago and broke my collarbone and a few ribs 😡. I had the BMW tech read the IMU on the bike to gather information afterwards because I had realized that I had the bike in rain mode because of flooding on the road the night before(I needed to switch over to enduro-pro for the sand wash) the IMU gave me the speed, wheel spin and lean angle faults that told me that I should have flipped that switch over 😂🤣😂. We love your content, creativity with the camera and authenticity with what these adventures are all about. Keep on,”Living the Dream”…we love it!☘️😎
Ride modes are great until you’re in the wrong one. Haha. Thanks again for being a part of this channel You’re my biggest fan!!🤙🏻lol. I keep getting in my head with filming and posting. I need to let loose a little.
Great video Larry! Appreciate your insights on the ride and trying to be safe when you are 13 hours from home. 😳 Glad you are safe. Thanks for sharing. John and Caroline ☘
I have the same windscreen as you and I put the puig windscreen extender on it for the buffeting. You have to play around with the positioning to get it just right but I have a nice clean stream of air on my helmet now.
Curious how tall you are/inseam? I am seriously contemplating getting one for adventure riding/mild off road, I am 5'9" with 30", I feel i would definitely need risers for the bars as well to stand comfortable. I am currently torn between a KLR, 310GS, or a Honda 500x. Hopefully i could flat foot the BMW, i cant with a KLR so would have to lower it
I’m the same size I’m good on the 310 with the regular seat. You’ll be fine. And if you want you can go with the low seat or even lower the suspension.
@@oilers48 I would do the seat first, and then you could do the lowering link on the rear, but either way I don’t think flat footing is important. Personally, I’d rather have the clearance for the off-road
