Another year, another rally!

Hey Larry! This is John from The Grand Shamrock Tour, Great Video!! Sorry about the crash but grateful that you are not seriously injured. I crashed my 1250 in Death Valley a few years ago and broke my collarbone and a few ribs 😡. I had the BMW tech read the IMU on the bike to gather information afterwards because I had realized that I had the bike in rain mode because of flooding on the road the night before(I needed to switch over to enduro-pro for the sand wash) the IMU gave me the speed, wheel spin and lean angle faults that told me that I should have flipped that switch over 😂🤣😂. We love your content, creativity with the camera and authenticity with what these adventures are all about. Keep on,”Living the Dream”…we love it!☘️😎

Ride modes are great until you’re in the wrong one. Haha. Thanks again for being a part of this channel You’re my biggest fan!!🤙🏻lol. I keep getting in my head with filming and posting. I need to let loose a little.

Nice video man! Glad you're on the mend. I almost ate it at the 15:20 mark. Whiskey throttled a little bit...not sure what happened.

Crikey buddy,so glad the 850 didn't land on you dude! 😮👍 How are you liking your F850GS & how often are you having to adjust the drive chain? 🙂 I traded in my Honda CB500F & my G310GS (Same Rallye colours are yours infact)recently for a very similar to yours 2018 F850GS with 10,000 miles on it & so far I'm loving it...Although I'm a total copycat it seems & that's me not even mentioning my latest Rev It glove purchase!!! 🤣😎✌️ Hope you're feeling a little less tender after the off,but having heard your a skater you'll have had many of those before & with no gear on I bet,just like before I hung up my deck & retired from that more dangerous hobby! 😉👍

Yeah, me too. That could’ve been way worse I’m enjoying 850. It’s a lot more comfortable on the longer trips. Definitely not as fun as a 310 in the woods, but still a monster. It really depends on how much I’m riding. I’d say every 500 miles. I’m giving it a little adjustment. I’ll let it go a bit longer and notice it’s pretty loose. Thanks for watching!!

@ADVLARRY I only got rid of my last 2 bikes because I'm going to the ABR Festival at the end of June & I know I'd have possibly hated my baby GS after around 12 hours there & back on 99% motorways & covering 300 miles each way! 🤣👍 I still think I might buy another baby GS in the future,they're such amazing & more than capable than folk think & best of all hilariously great fun! 👍😎
