Thanks! I don’t know, the Peak seems a lot more versatile. If this is your first synth, this is probably the better investment. The Moog on the other hand has that sweet ladder filter. Can’t really go wrong but they are very different beasts. Good luck on your sonic journey.
Beautiful, nostalgic sound here. This pedal is really something else, it captured and expanded your original recording in such an organic and dreamy way.
Initially, I thought that the quality of the micro cassette was to degraded(compared to regular cassette tape) but it has grown on me since then. I like how the Mood takes it to new places. Thanks for watching!
@@django-music it's a gorgeous sound! I just acquired a Mood MK2 recently so I've been experiencing interesting performances featuring it like the ones on your channel. Very interesting stuff! I think the expanded sound of the degraded tape really suits it.
@@django-music Matriarch is nice...I have one, but I'm about to sell that and my Moog one for a Sequential Prophet Rev 2 16 - they just sound better. Moog One was an absolute disaster.
Yeah the BigSky always sounds lovely. You might be able the find a used model for a good price, now that the MX is out. Also note that I'm stacking the BigSky cloud algorithm with reverb on the Mood.
Great job! You inspired me to finally give Volante's Sound on Sound mode a try... I typically use another dedicated looper (Aeros Loop Studio) but I could go parallel as well! Thanks!
I must admit that the main reason I'm using the Volante is because I don't own a looper pedal (yet). The Sound on Sound mode takes some getting used to but it always sounds great.
I didn’t really aim for a blues melody, but then again, I usually don’t aim for anything specific. I just throw some stuff together and see where it gets me. Anyway, thanks for your time.
The reel-to-reel is running on low speed and is connected to an aux send so it's basically a very large (and limited)delay effect. I'm also saturating the delayed audio by overdriving the pre-amp and by sending the delayed audio back into the reel-to-reel recorder. I use the BigSky on both the wet and the dry signal (via another aux send) to glue it all together. I hope this clarifies the signal chain.
I wouldn’t know, I use my osmose for keyboard expression. I’m not a fan of regular keyboard aftertouch since it make it feel like I’m damaging the keybed. Just my personal preference. Do note that while the Rev2 supports polyphonic aftertouch, the internal keyboard only supports monophonic aftertouch.
Thanks! I am working on something but it is still in its early stages. The output of this channel is basically the research for something that should eventually be released to the world.
