Moog Subsequent 37, Elektron Octatrack, Strymon BigSky and Chase Bliss Mood MKII // Gliss

I'm using the Octatrack only as a sequencer this time. Track 1 is sending midi notes to the Subsequent 37 by using the midi arpeggiator. The arp is modulated with param locks and I'm changing the arp range by hand, since this cannot be bound to scenes.
The BigSky is used in cloud mode and the Mood in stretch/reverb mode with nodub enabled.

The sub 37 was always one of my favourite sounding oscillator/filter combos. It always sounded much more immediate than the other Moog synths to me.

@@django-music Matriarch is nice...I have one, but I'm about to sell that and my Moog one for a Sequential Prophet Rev 2 16 - they just sound better. Moog One was an absolute disaster.

Yeah the BigSky always sounds lovely. You might be able the find a used model for a good price, now that the MX is out. Also note that I'm stacking the BigSky cloud algorithm with reverb on the Mood.

I love it !! I will buy a novation Peak but i think a sub 37 is better for me

Thanks! I don’t know, the Peak seems a lot more versatile. If this is your first synth, this is probably the better investment. The Moog on the other hand has that sweet ladder filter. Can’t really go wrong but they are very different beasts. Good luck on your sonic journey.
