We have been called "Wheel People" as we have done a lot of traveling across North America in an 18 wheeler. We lived in a Semi Truck, otherwise known as a Highway Tractor, for approximately seven years. It was our business as well as our home, and we worked together, spending a lot of time together in a VERY small space. This will either make or break a marriage. Happily it "made" ours!
We are both very artistic and create using various mediums. We love to up-cycle what usually ends up in the landfills. During the past few years we have more time to be more involved in our passions. Dave uses wood and Sandra uses textiles. We enjoy teaching others how to do DIY projects from up-cycled materials.

Hello!! Sounds like you have been very very busy!! Love the pops!! Great deal!! Makes the panel even prettier lol. Thank you for sharing the applique techniques. I started a quilt with tons of applique but never finished it. Hope all is well!! Tell Dave hello and Happy Late Dad's Day!!
Hi, we enjoy hearing from you! I am about ready to sew the blocks together that I appliquéd in this video. So exciting to be almost done this several years long project. Dave says hi and thank you. All the best.
Love you my friend. The bag looks amazing. Thank you so much for the help on the proper cutting on the pattern I brought down with me to work on. You will both be in my thoughts and prayers while in Saskatoon.
I am so glad that you are getting lots of use out of the bag. The Cathedral wedding quilt was loved by the couple. Thank you so much for the use of Brutis to have the quilt ready for their big day. lol now I need to find a long arm as my mid arm seems daunting. I love all the projects you do, they are stunning. I absolutely enjoyed my very first retreat and all the information I gathered from may of you ladies. Thank you my rowdy friend.
Happy belated birthday! I hope it was a good one. It sounds like you have been very, very busy. Say say it keeps you out of trouble but I still haven't found that to be true. Lol!! Thank you for sharing the going on. Do you guys garden? I have been trying to get mine in for the past few days it's been warm enough I can get it in a week early this year. Stay well!!
Thank you. Keeping busy just gets me into trouble! 😊🤣 lol!! Yes we garden, but it has been raining and we are not past having frost. So I am hoping to get outside next week and get the yard cleaned up from winter. Bought my seeds and some greenhouse plants already, so I am planning the raised beds. Take care.
I agree sinks are made for a lot of things other than dishes and water!! Mine usually has dirt or bird feathers or a dog being bathed LOL I love it!! Great job as always.
Lovely quilting, lovely quilt - thank you. I love the leaf pattern in the surround - would be great for sashing. Newbie here, although I've had mine for since the Christmas before, so far only quilted 4. I'm trying to finish my pile of unfinished tops - rule is finish one and then quilt. I'm diving in the deep end with them and playing as I go. I do enjoy as much as I enjoy watching quilting videos - very relaxing!
We are selling locally at the present time. Hopefully soon, we will be on the quilt show/crafting vendor circuit and have these for sale. $150 unfinished and $175 finished plus shipping.
The last bracelet looks like it was knitted. Stunning. I just love the colors in the quilt you're working on. Hope to see the finished product soon. Happy Spring. 🐞🐣🦋🌺🌻🌼
I hope your husband is able to get surgery quickly. I am formally from your area. Love all your found blocks and what you plan on making next. Looks like you have a formidable stash. Stay positive
Thank you. The teal fabric is from Northcott. It was a line of fabric from several years ago around 2015/16. The white is a tone on tone and I have no idea what company made it. Sorry I can’t be of more help. I am trying to use up my stash.
Hi They are LED lights that I bought at Costco. They are made up of 12 inch segments so you can add or subtract sections to fit the space. I bought these almost 10 years ago. Have a beautiful day.
Just found you…very pretty quilt and lovely quilting! Can you share about your long arm work space? Is your longarm in your dining room? I have been wondering if I could make that set up work for me. My machine lives in my garage.😔
Thank you. We live in a modular home with an open concept kitchen, dining and living room. The longarm takes up a third of the living room. It is the only place it could be set up, so we make it work.
You are very talented and very patient. I land up doing an edge to edge pattern on my quilts as I want it to finish fast. Maybe some day I will do a whole cloth quilt and attempt some of the incredible design you do. ❤️🪡
Thank you. I am very impatient. lol I have trained myself to walk away so that I don’t rush especially with a customer’s quilt. My own, now that is different, I have a tendency to hurry up and get them done. 😬🤣
@pambarker8767 I will look into the cost of shipping. Send me an email at quiltparadise1@gmail.com Then we can discuss the particulars of shipping. Thank you.
