Historical battles, tactics, politics and all things related served as smooth animated narration. Conflicts throughout history, from Ancient Rome to XX century.
Pollentia is my hometown, but I currently live in Hasta (or better known as Asti). Not many know about the great battle that occurred here, especially because it doesn't look like a good battlefield at all (many vineyards and all of that). One thing of note, the Tanarus valley is really narrow, not excessively deep, but surely wouldn't allow for much military action outside of the 2km stretch of land between two hillsides, which is likely why the Visigoths scattered immediately upon retreat. Where pollentia once stood, the Savoys built a weird neogothic village with a weird arab-style bridge in the place Stilicho was (incorrectly) believed to have crossed the river. Hasta, meanwhile, was one of the few cities to avoid deep sacking in the fall of the west, which allowed it to retain its status as medium-sized city and cultural capital of Piedmont up until the French took it in the 1250s.
Great to see you back. There are others that do the same kind of thing, but you have a special style, and I think you pre-date most of them. Keep it up if you can, you have a loyal audience.
I loved that you're back! ❤ Hey, I like the pattern of old videos, a more ancient and medieval atmosphere. When you have time, try to bring this atmosphere and map to the new videos too :)
Wow blast from past why you guys don't post more all the good channels like history marche, kings and generals and house of history all started from you.
It was an informative and wonderful historical coverage video about a chain ⛓️ of clashing between Gothic warriors and depression and disappointment times of the western Roman empire
