I love how they finally brought back portrait ghosts. This game feels like a good blend of 1 and 2. It’s also interesting that we got a ghost antagonist alongside king boo
Yea i agree with the time eater boss ranking. Honestly it was a cool concept poorly executed.... on the console version. The 3ds version of this boss was much better done fight wise
According to the manual you can use a piece of tape to remove the protector if it’s crooked. Also I saw somewhere you can also use tape to remove dust if it gets stuck under the protector and doing it in the bathroom with the shower on helps to remove dust. I’ve done it like that before when I've applied the screen protector to my phone and my Switch and it's gone pretty well
Another curiosity about Baby Bowser: in his second stage, the fact that he runs towards you is not just for show or play. As he gets angry he's serious, he's literally ramming against the very ground you're standing on, and if he reaches you, he destroys it, leaving you to fall into the black hole of oblivion. It's scary.
Im really glad they went with the Links Awakening Remake art style. The sandbox mechanic will definitely be different. Sucks that I missed the livestream!
Team Mario and Luigi, I never loved the paper Mario games, I never played Super Mario RPG, and Mario + Rabbids is a mixed bag Tho the best Mario and Luigi game is Paper Jam
@@SuperMatt721 I’ve played a couple of the others, but I think Paper Jam resonates with me as it was one of my first games I’ve ever played, and it was a game I played when I was young
It's all subjective, but this is very different from what my placements would be. Lakilester is pretty dang decent in my opinion. I don't think the fact that he comes so late into the game should matter too much. I'd put him somewhere around middle of the list maybe. I don't think there are any "bad" party members, but Bombette would be somewhere near the very bottom for me. She's got some awesome abilities that are very powerful, but the crazy high amount of FP they cost hurts her a LOT. Lastly, I'd put Bow a lot higher on the list. She can do a ton of damage, and Outta Sight is amazing. In fact, Outta Sight actually breaks the game. They made it too good.
I do agree with a lot of points you made, but I should mention a few things you should consider looking into more. First off Superstars was revealed 2 weeks before Mario Wonder, did you think SEGA was aware of that? And the release date was likely planned ahead of time without knowing Mario Wonder's existence and while they could’ve delayed it a month ahead it’s probably too hard of a task to handle knowing that shareholders can be pretty stingy if their releases get delayed. I don’t think Arzest is a bad Studio even with their catalog, the issue is that they are overly influenced which can hinder their releases, Balan wasn’t bad because of Arzest themselves, it was bad because it had a bad director Yuji Naka, Arzest needs better direction and I blame Iizuka in a couple of aspects for Superstars direction, especially with the story because there are still details that wasn’t publicly shown yet. Superstars being a 2.5D game isn’t bad at all if you know how to take advantage of it, there’s a reason why they ditched it over a hand-drawn style, yes it was likely budget reasons why they didn’t go with the 2D art style, but more specifically a pixel style, Sonic is a kids franchise and one of their main demographic’s, it’s very likely kids are gonna see something as Mania and brush it off because they see pixel games nothing but old news, it was the right call to choose whatever over pixel style but I do wish they took more advantage of it being 2.5D because generations classic levels shows that. I do see potential in Superstars if they give it a follow-up to Iron out and improve areas. - Remove the co-op (keep it 2P at least) - have a more consistent OST (get Jun to pick up that damn guitar) - give it a unique style before they suffer NSMB syndrome - give a proper online mode that isn't whatever the hell Superstars battle mode is, just be Mania’s with online support. - have a justifiable price of $40-$20 Funny enough I chose Superstars over Wonder, mostly because at the time I didn’t have a switch but also I find Wonder and 2D Mario in general to be pretty basic and boring and Wonder kind of had to do the bare minimum to stand out from the NSMB series while having elements that left me scratching my head.
