I'm in love with the Eastern Sierra. You just can't pick a bad trail. Even with the severe low snow year it's still beautiful. It's nice to have friends along. In August I'm doing a 5 day loop in Yosemite. It will be the first time I've had over night hiking partners and the first backpacking trip for the two girls coming along. This video made me smile and laugh when you said, " Everything is damn good after backpacking " 🤣 Ain't that the truth!
Hi, Eric 👋 Unfortunately the mosquitos were pretty bad... You will need mosquito net and bug repellent. I recommend repellent with 'Picaridin' It works better than the one with 'deet' 😉
If you have a hard time adjusting in high altitude, you should. Otherwise, all 6 of us were fine without camping near that trail prior to hiking. Happy trails 👣 💓
