Bmore hoods have been abandoned to the point where it’s nothing but crime, as a native Baltimorian living in Philly imma say at least Philly tryna clean Kensington up. The new mayor Parker is on her job!

grew up in Newburgh. Class of 84. As someone who still has family there ( I left in 90) I miss Newburgh very much. Yeah it might have gotten run down, Lack of jobs, mismanagement of funds etc,, but I count the days till when I can return. From the outside looking in it's unsafe, but so is the rest of the world. My truest friends in the world live there, my cousins, aunts and uncles. I will always be proud to say I'm from the "Burgh" and am overjoyed when I can go back and kick it with my people. I might not live there anymore, but I visit as much as I can. LONG LIVE MY CITY.
BMORE. Ya gots to bemocareful . I'm MHPGHOST. IM FROM THE MOST DANGEY PROJECTS IN THE CITY , MURPHY HOLMES. THIS IS THE HOME OF THE MOB THE CITY THAT MOLDED THE DOOPE BOY GAME. EVERY MAJOR TOP DUDE OR DUDET NEEDED TO LAY GROUND EORK THROUGH OUR CITY. THIS CITY IS THE BIGBUSNIUS CAPITAL OF THE WORLD ALMOST SECOND TO NEW YORK BEHIND DC. MY HOPE IS YOU UNDERSTAND THAT DEPENDING ON THE AREA OF TIME YOU COME FROM ANYBODY BORN AFTER 1991 CANT TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT OUR TURF. YEA WE WERE THE WORST IN TERMS OF WHAT?.. IM GHOST. MHP GHOST SAYING BANG BANG.
By bad, what do you mean? As far as being poverty stricken it’s pretty bad but as far as people you may not come across a more charming group in America. As far as danger, it’s not particularly dangerous for people who aren’t getting in the way of the drug dealers which are in every city with these jokers are different here so don’t try that. If you’re professional, you may love it.. you have DC 30 minutes away in New York 3 1/2 hours. Best and worst of all four seasons. Food is immaculate. Seafood lovers there is no better place. I usually tell people to just come and see it and please don’t pay attention to all the negative stereotypes..
I was born in Trenton (1931) now live in Arizona, Lived on Laurel ave . My Dad had a grocery store (Arnolds Market) on styvasant ave, and closed in 1951 because ofI death went back 5 years ago, Wow! has it changed! to the worse
Stephen Crane was allowed by city officials to segregate the blacks from whites. You couldn’t tell years ago that that property belonged to NHA. However, now that it’s black the city has neglected to keep it up. Everything that the GOVERNMENT owns is neglected when blacks are housed on their property. The city and NHA are at fault. They feed on the ignorance of PEOPLE.
I used to live in Gilmor Homes project and on 1814 N. Avenue, back in the day. l live in Baltimore, County now, once people start using drugs that when the city and people went downhill. It used to be so clean and nice and now the area looks so bad. Even though you're driving and l'm watching the sites, it does hurt to see how Baltimore houses and people have change. Thanks for the tour.
Baltimore and Philly are both severely undervalued because people see the bad areas and think the whole place is like that. Let’s keep it that way. I live in a 1br apartment with a yard and parking pad in a cool, safe, walkable neighborhood for $1100, so pls keep highlighting urban blight and keep as many ppl away as possible. They can go throw all their money away on rent in DC, NYC, or Boston!
