I always go 10/10/10 for dps and 9/9/9 for supports, it's a different story tho if I like them, I double 10 JQ cause I like him

As a player that only started over in the first half of 2.4 this fact hurts my soul. I will be rolling for robin and feixao in the next patch to hopefully get some actual good dps

Idea: Finish an endgame content to get 1 " journey to the past " fragment. Just like Herta, 8 fragments for the event LC and 2 fragment for each superimpose.

Stumbled across the theory videos. And now going back to watching all that I can. Really loved Boothills design. And excited to see where I can improve with him.

I accidentally pulled Yunli on her banner with a shits and giggles pull and have since been trying to run a dual dps with her Jingliu, bronya, and huohuo, with jingliu being a character I've been investing in for a long time, but now she's slowly getting outdamaged by yunli who isn't as well built. It's a bit sad to see jingliu hit her ceiling and i feel like I'll have to build another team soon with yunli or another dps. I know its a natural progression with this kind of game but it sucks to see a character I've spent a lot of time with slowly get worse in comparison to the new content

Boothill is my favorite character

I saw a video comparing vertical vs horizontal investment the only case i see horizontal investment’s actually worth it is for limited harmony that’s veru hard or take very long to powercreep (Robin) In every other cases, the weakness matching, the break system, enemy resistance, constant change of meta gameplay-wise (hypercarry, then comes DOT on its own => follow-up => SuperBreak => (potentially) Summon Horizontal investment is just better Diversifying the characters you can choose from gives a very easy mix and match versus different content (also, you get to play different new characters too) The only exception i’ve made so far is Ruan mei and Robin’s E1. And Seele cause it’s launch and you got plenty of rolls so she’s E1S1. Also horizontally invest in “unique” characters (jiaoqiu being one of them). Only fair to mention my kafka and blackswan is at E2 (sig s1 for kafka; no sig for BS) The rest of my dps is just a copy and all and i’m still doing well with kafka carrying one side of basically any gamemode (she’s just that good) and the other team will be crafted based on the contents given Heck this Pure Fiction run i was able to run a mono quantum Jade Seele team on the first side. Never got to used Seele in endgame content for so long now (like Xueyi’s just so much more flexible and better in most of the Divergent Universe and Moc, PF despite being a 4 star. God Xueyi)

Please remember people…you have 10 cycles to clear MOC…you don’t need to zero cycle each side

only reason i want him is because im planning to pull for acheron in the future. but right now he doesn't fit any of my current dps (argenti, boothill, firefly, clara)

I would have considered pulling for jiaoqiu if it wasn't for Lingsha coming up. Still don't have a limited sustain yet and she also serves as further vertical investment for Firefly which helps keep her performant once fire weakness starts disappearing. I have Acheron but she isn't performing well for me - and I blame the relics (and lack of S1). Crit gear farming is such a chore. Jiaoqiu might fix Acheron and serve as a decent sidegrade on other teams (but I already have Ruan Mei and Robin), but Lingsha is a strong upgrade over Lynx/Bailu while the second team gets Gallagher (and the March Gallagher team is so much fun too).

Idc if he's good or bad, It's just ridiculous who they removed all the healing from his kit, he's still referenced as a healer in game all the time, it doesn't make any sense

Idk I pulled for him for my DOT team, I won my 50/50 and got two copies of him in one pull so I’m happy next is black swan 👀

I really hope they debut a dispelling enemy that removes our party buffs. This way Jiaoqiu goes up the meta a lot

Idk, I read his skills description and decided that he is really good. Then i read his eidolons and decided he is an OP. I had 230 pulls, but lost last 50/50(yeah.. Yanqin).. but I have time, mb I will get his e2 later. I going to use him in Ache team and Kafka+BS team, I think it will go great. I had "miserable dots" team as backup since their release and never had a problem with any content.

Fire elemental is what stop me from pulling. I alr have himeko, firefly as dps. But still have no nihility. I prefer to have lighting or wind to fight diverse boss

I pulled him for pure fiction acheron because i dont want to invest in units that are only good for that

after playing with him dude is broken as hell

also FuA is here to stay given it took them some character additions to show why its soo broken not even including dev bias in a turn based rpg ignoring fundamentals by attacking outside of your turn is very powerful in itself. you only get x ammount of turns but if you ignore that and just can act whenever you feel like it why wouldnt you use it... its the same with offield dps in genshin like yelan fischl xiangling yae furina all of them can give their full benefit while not needing to be onfield as we know only one character can be onfield at any given moment ignoring such restrictions like with needing turns or being onfield to do dmg will always be powerful

I feel like a lot of people hate him because of what his kit was during the beta stuff, but people forget that it was simply a concept for his build, until any official announcement it’s all open to change.

I think a lot of people were expecting him from the leaks to be a nihility with sustain capability for e0 acheron teams and when he showed up in beta with none of that people were choked. He does actually seem better than I expected him to be, but he's not what we all wanted him to be.

So instead of getting Jiaoqiu, I should upgrade my Jingliu since she is the only other limited dps I have besides Acheron and I've been struggling with her?

I just got him and was able to clear Apocalyptic Shadow Stage 4 Node 2 with Acheron, Pela and Gallagher with enough points that I could get 3 stars.

Well I accidentally got E1S1 so I’ll just get my silly little butt to the relic farms…

He might become meta with new dps that want debuffs , but Sunday will probably be a harmony and harmony is a must pull

Really sad they are going the follow-up meta way, as if half of the characters didnt 'belong to this archetype already. A proper DoT upgrade with someone who can reliably replace Ruan Mei and allow the DoT teams to ascend to new heights is long overdue, and Jiaoqiao most certainly doesn't feel like one I wonder if the 5* fire nihility tingyun is going to be DoT-focused, tho...

Honestly I just wish he was a different element instead of Guinaifen’s murderer. If he was ice then he wouldn’t even step on Pela’s toes because def shred is different from vulnerability. It also would’ve given him a unique ice DoT that still hurts

As a beta tester, I can understand the doompost firsthand. V1 Jiaoqiu was so instrumental with Acheron that it made zero cycling or fast clearing much more simpler in both Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow. Many people who saw leaked footage (primarily private server footage) hoped to be able to play at that kind of level. Me personally, I never intended on getting Jiaoqiu so the nerfs didn’t bother me at all, as for plenty of players who do play for meta, it completely shattered their dreams due to them seeing a much higher potential.

Sparkle is cute and the other is an NPC, the answer is clear

Jiaoqiu was doomposted because his kit was nerfed a total of 11 times from v1 to v5 just so that he wouldn’t make Acheron literally the best unit in every mode.

I personally won’t be pulling for him, but not because I think he’s bad. I just don’t have the units to build a decent team with him currently. Maaaaybe I could use him with my Boothill, but I would honestly prefer waiting to get Kafka or Acheron instead, since I feel they have better synergy. I guess what I’m trying to say is that Jiaoqiu mainly suffers from being the sort of niche unit that works best when paired with other particular characters. I’d say he’s kinda like the Emilie of HSR. Not bad by any means, but niche enough to where most people would prefer opting for the broken general supports that already exist. (This comment was made before seeing the actual video, so if it makes similar arguments, then kudos.)

He's not bad at all, he is quite good. The problem is Acheron is already so strong with Pela + literally any other Nihility character that he isn't needed, he fills a role purely to be a comfort pick. The only time he excels much better is with e2 Acheron + Sparkle, but once again that doesn't have anything to do with him, it has to do with Acheron being THAT strong. Realistically if you were to vertically invest into the perfect Acheron team you'd get him, but you'd also go for Acheron's e2s1 minimum and finish it off with a Sparkle/Bronya. Outside of Acheron teams he just doesn't compete with the Harmony 5* that exist who are also universal across all teams. Ruan Mei is obviously better in SB, but still makes any other team stronger than Jiaoqui would. Robin is obviously better in FuA, but still makes any other team stronger than Jiaoqui would. Sparkle is the prime Hyper Carry Crit support, Jiaoqui cannot compete there either. In most cases I'd say Tingyun is better as well, battering up an ult can be a massive game changer and Jiaoqui cannot do that. Pela is basically free, functions great at e0 and requires investment in only 2 skills. No she will not enhance your damage as much as Jiaoqui, but how much more damage does Jiaoqui at e0s0 provide over Pela? The difference is there, but it is not substantial. For him to be considered worth it imho the difference would have to be 20% or higher, anything less is not worth it. He isn't bad at all, but I see him like Loucha/Blade. His comfortability comes at the cost of his power, he is strong now but there will be another debuffer that outclasses him completely by virtue of being more specialized. That being said, if people like him they should pull him. I don't really care for him, I think he's pretty lame character wise so I wont be.

i got JQ early but Guaranteed and he got me MOC 12 3 Star and 60000k points on PF 4 I dont regret pulling him also i only have E1S1 acheron and used him acheron Ruan mei and fuxuan

He's low value because pela exists end of the story

He’s just not that good right now, since he’s niche only shining in Acheron teams at E0 and E2 with DoT. He’s just incredibly niche now, since there’s other good characters like Feixiao, Rappa coming out. He’ll shine like Topaz and maybe Jade in the future

I'll just say this, Jiaoqiu as a whole themeing wise is yin yang, healing, and healing being found in cooking. I think where mihoyo failed Jiaoqiu is in themeing and I will probably die on this hill. Do I think he is a bad unit? No. I think he's a good unit in nearly EVERY team but he's best with Acheron. 99% of the issues I have with Jiaoqiu would be gone if he had something positive given to teams from his ultimate like maybe a tiny heal over time based on his dot damage or even a team wide effect res%+ healing bonus would satisfy me. Everything about him just makes me have questions more so than anything else, why does he have yin yang symbolism? Why is he a healer if he does nothing related to healing mechanically? He always says that his cooking brings benefits to people but currently all it does is negatively impact the enemy? I love the idea of a male foxian being added to my roster but he's legitimately the first unit I've run into where the pure themeing of the character is so bad that I am skipping even though I really like his aesthetics. Tbf I think some of the doomposting came from the Jiaoqiu mains because people were hoping for 5 star Guinifen with a new unique nihility mechanic like healing or something unique for the team but mechanically he isn't anything amazing. That's just my two cents, when I don't have to worry about future characters or the fate stay night collab I will probably snag a copy of him.
