i have never played guilty gear, my only experience with fighting games is Street fighters on the PS2 with my dad, and i absolutely suck at playing against people. that being said. I WILL DIE FOR FAUST. HE IS THE CHARACTER EVER (aside from Bedman because his story hit me like a truck)
I don't like fighting games, except Def Jam. But it is a delight to watch a good Faust player, probably my favourite gaming content. Your video made me wanna buy Strive, even though I know I won't be able to play it at all. The whole relapsing depression thing is the main theme of my life in the last 25 years. No wonder Faust has a special place in my heart. Oh before I forget, this video will be in my top 10 gaming videos forever! Thank you!
I think the new wiki is great, but I will say that there is still a lack of information such as translations of quotes from characters in Xrd and Strive, especially for in battle dialogue and system voice quotes, and there’s almost no information on the wiki in regards to Judgement or Dust Strikers.
lmao if stage ban is an issue, the more stages there are, the more you should be able to ban, its not that much of a problem, you have more stages and then you can ban like 3 instead of 2, or 4 instead of 2, and you can also allow battlefield copies to be banned ALONG battlefield so there isn't a problem you're banning battlefield then you're banning midgar and such
bro, all the dogging on will zeppeli is so tragic, bro is the original jobro, if it wasnt for him there would be no joestar bloodline because johnathan would've just gotten slaughtered by Dio
My favorite part of Faust's theme is that it never truly "recovers" like you might expect. It goes from disturbing whispers to a desperate imitation of his demeanor in Xrd to that "eye of the storm" bridge before the final chorus, but it never shakes those voices. Instead, you get the orchestra, the guitar, AND the voices as if to say "He's still going through it. He still isn't back to his old self, and he might never get back to that place. But he's still under that one sky. Joy, grief, fun, paranoia. He's still there. He's not the same, but he's still there."
