Who Will Get in Guilty Gear Strive (Eventually)? 

ABA is a character who needs to play extremely careful in neutral until she either lands a command grab or uses a stock to activate an install that turns her into one of the best characters in the game.

Bakery Venom and Robo-Ky's Head together would make such a great joke character. I genuinely want to see them like that in Strive

I notice the devs always put "Dr. Baldhead" as an option of characters you'd want to see make a return and I always vote for that, along with Zappa. I'm fascinated with how they'd handle Dr. B and Zappa has, in my opinion, one of the greatest fighting styles in gaming history.

If Zappa ever gets in, I hope they make him the opposite of how they made Faust in this game, because think about it: Faust was a goofball who acted goofy and usually did the funny things until strive where the goofy has been repurposed to be more dark, to show that Faust has fallen down in life. With Zappa, he was the very unnerving guy in accent core with the ghosts and demons possessing him, and if you've watched Xrd's story, Zappa was there and his life turned around for the better. So if he comes back, I think the demons should be shown to reflect that, and he becomes the more light-hearted goofball Faust used to be, while Faust still has the cartoony stuff, but repurposed to be the unnerving thing that Zappa used to be.

I think it'd be kinda funny if Venom and Robo-Ky came back as a pair, Venom still using pool balls and shit but also occasionally tossing out Robo-Ky's head to float around and fire lasers or something at the opponent or other pool balls.

This could be nothing, but remember that official artwork they posted about reaching half a million sales? It was interesting that they included 3 characters on there that were not playable. Jack-o made sense since she was in the story and was most likely going to be the second character of season 1, but sin and elphelt were also there, albeit in chibi form, and sin came in next season, also the second character of season 2. Maybe there’s a pattern here, whether by accident or it was all planned out ahead of time, and if so elphelt could be next as the second character of season 3, but only time will tell 👀

Gabriel actually fights in Xrd storymode, he beats the shit out of bedman and tag-teams with Slayer against some high-explosive gears. His fighting style seems to use these magic yellow fist-shaped blasts and two special moves called Agni X and Fistomachina, everything combined he might be my number 1 pick for a fully new character ngl

My wishlist right now is Zappa, Venom (with a Robo Ky assist), A.B.A, Slayer, Gabriel, Dizzy, Elphelt, Holy Order Sol, Kliff (I know he's dead), and any reference character in that order. I know that this list is very unlikely, but I have hope.

I just noticed something and excluding characters that are obviously going in the game, seeing repeated characters gave me a hint on what they might do: Paradox characters, Echo fighters for Smash Players, that way we can have Order Sol or Dr.Baldhead/Fanny, and for dead characters also works cuz time travel and shit

Personally, my list is for Elphelt, Robo-Kye, Dizzy, and Slayer. Jam and A.B.A. are also up there as well, and Zappa would be a fun addition. But I swear to GOD if they don't make Faust Zappa's arcade boss, I'M GOING TO BE FUCKING LIVID!

Uzelac actually went into the character files and found Delilah,Sin, Asuka,Jam,Vernon,Johnny,and Dizzy so there’s still a chance we might be able to play as the former president of the United States

I think Order Sol and Robo Ky would be best to be added into something like Strive: Definitive edition as the final characters for the game that you don't have to pay for as DLC. Either that, or have some other clone-esque characters added instead, try surprising people a bit. Classic Potempkin! Sad Chaos! Eddie! (yeah as a standalone actually) Valentine! (as a Ramlethal clone, maybe with mechanics taken from Jack-O and Elphelt if they get in as well)

Some minor nitpicks Ariels has alot of dialog in xrd but she was also possessed by happy chaos during that story. (start of strive's story is ino extracting happy chaos from Ariels) I'm not sure what they would do making her playable as happy chaos is already in and without his influence she would be quite different. Dr. Paradigm has a rather large voiced roll in xrd's story as well as his gg2 stuff. I'm not sure Erica being president during xrd is accurate as Vernon is in that story mode as well. Pretty sure the change-over happened before xrd-revelator at least. Something else to note, besides jack-o, who was in strive's story, and baiken who was in older games, none of the new characters added in xrd-revelator and rev2 have shown up. Also, those two have only minor design changes visually. Jam also had a unique unfinished model datamined in an earlier version of strive. Its been so long since then that I recon shes been scrapped, or at least that iteration was scrapped in favor of a heavy redesign. (I have a theory that giovana is the result of the jam redesign after removing the moves that overlapped with anji's kit but its a stretch at best)

Robo-Ky mk 2 is separate because his copy moves gimmick was separate from the original Robo-Ky who was kept the same as they were in XX. In Isuka you made unique Robo-Ky Mk 2 builds, so in Strive that would be very interesting to see a character able to use the moves of other characters, but that would be a ton of work. Basically every attack animation would need to be coppied. Also Order Sol is just Sol back during the Crusades when Ky (and Testament iirc) were just newbie soldiers.

I have a pretty interesting idea for Order Sol that makes sense. Since Sol doesn’t have the flame of corruption anymore, give it to a now character and give them Order Sol’s moveset.

For Dr baldhead what they could do is let them run as separate people. Because as we all know why Faust is like he is in strive so as a way to cure him possibly they would have to separate the 2 sides of him giving us normal Faust and then Dr baldhead as well

Honestly, I'm just that one person that wants Justice in bc they're my favorite character in GG. Sure, there isn't many other ways to put Justice in beyond 'another clone', but if they can find a way to make that approach more compelling or at least find some manner to make this Justice in conflict with the original's goals or nature and play off of that. Jus some thinkin wit me Ork Noggin'.

I'm one of the goobers who thinks it'd be very funny if the final DLC character was Ragna. Both GG and BB main storylines are over. Throw him in and let him be his brash straightman to a new type of insanity. It could also be a pretty fun way to hype up a new BB if that is to happen - which isn't unlikely, since ArcSys' CEO did say BB is currently on standby while they're focusing on GG and that it will get its spotlight some other time.
