I saw that nervous eaters album at the record store last 10 for ten, I’ll pick it up next time if it’s still there. That last album is so good!!! That’s at the top of my wantlist I haven’t been able to find one. The heats reunited and are playing here in town and are playing at the end of the month!! I’m going to bring my copy of have an idea and see if I can get it signed! That undertones album is good but to me teenage kicks is so good every thing else seems kinda weak to me, safe for starry eyes with the first records album. Hope you make another video soon!!

I've been trying to get Halfway to Sanity on vinyl for years. It's either too expensive or unavailable. I finally got it from discogs, but it came in a blank album cover. Still looking.
Keep up the good fight 💪🏻 I bought my LPs many years ago before the vinyl resurgence kicked off so I didn’t pay crazy but I started collecting the singles more recently so that’s a diff story altogether. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
I got a bargain on Discogs from a U.S. seller 4 years ago. Ramones Blitzkrieg Bop A side stereo. Same track on B side mono. White Sire label 7" promo Nm condition with ABC company sleeve 50 dollars 🤘🤘

Thanks, took a couple decades to complete. All this stuff especially the later years just goes up in price every year. I got most of the LPs in my 20s when they were still very affordable but the singles has been an ongoing process for a long time. Appreciate you watching!

You’re killing me Randy 😂😂. Yeah it was a soft move to close businesses in Ohio but I work in Dialysis and it was a potential safety issue due to high volumes of traffic and sudden darkness when patients are leaving the centers 🤷🏻♂️ so we got the day off. I’m not complaining. And my memory sucks but you’re right that’s what I read too, I think Thunders was involved but Dee Dee wrote it for sure. Johnny ran everything so he got the final say. Just for the record I bought the new Green Day record and it’s actually pretty good. You can take my word for it 😂. See ya around ✌🏻

I bought it about 10 yrs later on EBay for about double what I paid originally 🤷🏻♂️ thanks for watching and hopefully we can talk in the future!
Congratulations man! You did it!!! I know that you know that I know exactly how much love and effort and time and dedication and money goes into tracking all this shit down, especially the dang singles!!! Best shit ever tho!!! I have descended deeper into the hole of other countries’ pressings, 12”s and even CD singles for the last couple albums…good on you if you resist the sickness on some of that because it never ends! There’s always more and it’s crazy, so it’s a very sane and healthy decision to have an end point in mind. Happy for you that you made it there. The only real glaring exception I see missing from this video is Acid Eaters. Covers album I know, but still technically a studio album. There’s also the other live albums floating around out there…but like I said it never ends! Haha. Good to see you back again. I hope to return to video’s sometime soon, just been busy as hell between being a dad and work and the band shit this past year. Cheers buddy!
Thanks for the sincere words bro! I appreciate it and I do know you appreciate it as well. The last 2 were the blitzkrieg bop singles and you know what they cost. Whoooooo. But it’s a lifelong love so I regret nothing. Long time coming and it’s super fun. I’m not saying I won’t go further down the rabbit hole in the future but for now I’m very content. Lastly, I’m in the same boat man, raising kids, working and playing with bands so RU-vid kinda takes a back seat but I’m glad to be back in the mix and have some cool stuff planned for this year. I had the chance to buy that heats album for 75 a few months ago and just couldn’t justify it, it’s good but I don’t know if it’s 75 good, and if I bought it I wouldn’t have been broke. Just got the first radiators from space recently and am in love with it. Really need to find fly boys, battered wives and especially that vibrators album. Other stuff I’m not familiar with but will check it out thanks!
Hey George, yeah all you mentioned there are must haves imo but unfortunately prizes are crazy nowadays. I got that Heats LP over a decade ago for a 1/3 of that so I get it man. $75 is steep unless you’re obsessed with the band. I spend stupid money on certain bands and others no way. Batterer Wives is still pretty cheap but the others are pricey. I recently picked up a 10” reissue of the Radiators record at a shop and I hate 10” records but I love that album and it was limited so fuck it. Anyway take care, talk to ya soon!

And its got the song by 999 called Feeling Alright with the Crew on it. I like it. Im 64 years young and was into Punk in the late 1970s. Good listening to your choices.

My early teenage years, that’s all I listened to was bands on lookout records and Rancid. I’m 42 years old now,and love revisiting these old punk rock albums that shaped my teenage years,shit makes me teary eyed, especially when I hear early screeching weasel.

Punk rock was the very first genre of music I fell in love with, Sex Pistols,The Clash,The Ramones,The Dead Kennedys and Circle Jerks,then I started listening to bands on lookout after that,Screeching Weasel,SquirtGun,Op.Ivy,the Mr.T Experience,The Queers,etc.etc. i love Rancid and NOFX,I slowly got into hardcore after that and actually played bass in a hardcore band called Source of Our Strength,we opened up shows for Unjust,Zao,Stretch Armstrong, but the older I got I found myself listening to less hardcore, I love the musical arrangements but the screaming I can’t take anymore,I think it’s an age thing. But the albums I revisit the most are mos.def. Screeching Weasel,Op.Ivy,Rancid,NOFX,etc. just takes me back to a more innocent time. I don’t know shit was different back then I feel the punk scene now a days are filled with a lot of young water brains.😆😆😆

Try if you can, get a copy of The Chords live album "No One Is Listening Anymore" on Unicorn records..Released in 1986 recorded at The Rainbow 1980...It kicks ass.
Those punk comps are on the Soul Jazz label, which is probably the greatest compilation label ever. I started buying there comps in around 96 , mainly Latino boogaloo stuff. They have a shop in Soho London called Sounds Of The Universe which has all the comps and loads of secondhand. The building was a lovely old pub where upstairs Keith Richards auditioned for the Stones. I’m popping in there tomorrow.

Hello James! Thanks for stopping by. Of course we collect the 7” in cool stuff, I show singles a lot. Have hundreds of them. However UK Punk and Mod singles don’t pop up in the states very often and when they do they cost! My Chords LP was the slightly later release without the free single. Great band! Cheers ✌🏻
The Avengers and The Outcasts are two GREAT albums. Penelope is my favorite female punk singer and the band is terrific. Hope you have their 12 EP produced by Steve Jones. It is terrific too. The Outcasts are a VERY underrated Irish punk band. They proved on this LP that you could make a first class punk album without playing 100 MPH songs. All their early singles are excellent too, especially Justa Nother Teenage Rebel.

And yeah Fifteen is great, choice of a new generation is an all time record. Paxton Quigley the author? If so no I was not. I never had the attention span for reading books when I was young. These classic Punk 45 compilations are superb . Great , hard to get obscure singles with great sound . I think there are eight volumes of these that have been released , all are top notch compilations of classic tracks from different states in the US , along with UK and French punk on independent labels . Don't pass these by if you see one , as they will become desirable if they go out of print .

I've actually seen Dillinger Four in probably '97 or '98 ! Wow! A 5 dollar punk show coming back to me. I've heard rumors about an original U.S. version of "Acid Eaters" but the story I heard is that there are only a thousand or so of them. Great record! Rock it all the time. One of those records that was probably more embraced by 90's alt-rockers than by 70's and 80's punk purists. Another great one my good sir!

Hey George, I’ve had the reissue of that Avengers for a while but saw an OG and grabbed. Those comps don’t pop up much and they are getting more expensive unfortunately cause I don’t think they are repressing them any time soon. Got lucky and found a dude who had both so I popped on it.
