Just got mine, got it used for 190$ in store basically brand new lol someone used it during a outage and returned it and man it's got some power for a smaller generator and runs for hours
I have the 9,000 peak watt version of this and ran it for 96 straight hours non-stop during a 5 day power outage in Maine. Thing ran great and got a good oil change after that. Worried about long term reliability after that but for the price, I'll take it. These are great generators.
I just bought this same welder and i lost the flux/mig wire it came with. I bought a giant spool of .035 and dont have gas yet. Out to the dumpster i go to check and see if they are in there. Great welder though i agree its packaged well. My first thought was its very small and compact! Looks sharp as hell and im impressed with the overall build quality for the price. Im running mine off 120v for now with a predator 8750 watt

The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!
two things. Not good to unplug a running fridge OR air conditioner and plug it right back in. Some have a recycle timer built in but best not to do this. it is bad for the compressor and the generator. Secondly, Turn off the fuel first and let it burn it all out of the carb and then die. This will prevent the gas from solidifying in the bowl and save on having to clean the carb after a long period of time. :) Cheers from Louisiana.
It's called duel voltage the machine is multy process if you never welded before how do you know how the drive rollers are built in them i would think plastic has no place in a welder
This video, along with the owners manual I found online was a big help this past weekend when we set up the generator and used it for the first time during a power outage. Two things worth noting that were not mentioned in this video are that the generator needs to be grounded using #6 AWG copper wire and a grounding rod and the generator needs a cover if using it during rain or snow because moisture cannot get on the generator.

It was easy to set up and get running. You have to change the oil every 25 hours of use. I get 16 hours with each four gallon tank fill. Get the wheel kit. With the wheel kit it's very easy to push or pull on level dry ground. It weighs 100 pounds empty. Read the manual first. Never let it run out of gas while an electrical load is attached to it. You can damage the armature. Never shut it down unless you have disconnected the extension cords. You can damage the armature. Uses 10W30 oil, about 20 ounces. Don't let it sit out in the rain. Let it warm up for five minutes before attaching a load. Hope that helps.

Feed Back! here is one, next video show how accurate the angle cuts are at 45 deg cut making a 90 deg angle frame. tell how accurate cuts are if adjustments need to be made and how true the vertical and horizontal cuts are so joining the two 45 deg cuts should make a flush 90 joint.
I too am a proud owner of this HF welder and I am quite happy with it as well. So did you ever learn to tig weld and do your stainless brewery project? I am concentrating on my stick skills as I Already have a good deal of experience with MIG, and coming from frustrations of an old Lincoln buzz box , I find this machine is a dream to use for stick welding.
Excellent video. How heavy is the whole generator? Can you lift the whole thing and be able to place it and take out at the back of an SUV or pickup truck without using loading ramps? I’m planning to use it remotely with me whenever I go to a jobsite
We just bought this exact generator. Can you advise what oil magnetic dipstick you found? I’ve not found one for this machine. The ones I’ve found for predators are for inverters.
