I understand what you are going through with the family. I was very close to my oldest sister and my nieces and nephews but they were so toxic. I cut them out of my life about 8 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. The stress I would feel when I had to deal with them was unbearable. Now, I don't even think about them anymore. It did put a strain on the rest of the family because we can't all get together anymore but I just don't go to most parties anymore. I'm OK with that because my mental health is no longer suffering. Take care of yourself and your family that's what is important!!

I watch for Jewel sales on the pub burgers. We do the same and take advantage of the sale and purchase these and use it for tacos or carne molida meal. My reliance is on surrendering my burdens to God and praying for guidance. Family relationships can be so stressful.

My family has always been a nightmare I ran along time ago. Now in the same state still no relationship. My husband only ever had his mom. Who spent a good sentence in Chino. My kids have really never had family only us and friends.
Thank you for opening up like that. I can relate so much. Sometimes going through it all you can feel alone (especially when I see all these other families who are so close). 45 years old and I've been more focused on my home too. That's who matters the most.
Your Mom’s family sounds like my Mom’s. My mother is one of 12 siblings, and I talk to only 2 of those siblings. They’ve never supported my business either, not even a share on facebook. No birthday greetings, nothing. They’re useless. I hope what you have going on passes soon 🖤

There was a huge rift in my mom's family when my grandma died between all the siblings. They never got over it. They are all in their 70s and 80s now still holding onto hate. Trust me, you don't want that. Grieving is hard. People do it different ways. Forgive them.
I truly hope things get better for you mentally, I feel you're overwhelmed by life issues. My Dad passed away 4 weeks ago, and hubby just had toe tendon repair today after a freak accident while cutting meat, knife slipped, and dropped on top of Tendon completely cut it in half.. months ago, my son had a spinal stroke , and he's doing great now. He has to have a hole in his heart fixed soon. That will keep clots from forming....some other shit but minor compared to what I wrote... ❤
I can say this with my whole heart my problems wouldn’t hold a candle to all the sadness and fear you must have experienced this year, I’m so sorry friend. I have to stop absorbing other people’s issues as my own, that’s what my therapist says anyways ☹️
@DanielaDiaries your therapist is correct, I have learned that this year myself, please take care of yourself. There is a reason for everything we go through , I question why, and sometimes, no answers are needed. Family first, only take on what you know you can handle ... support is what has helped me thru everything....
