I’m getting dentures, but if I would win the lottery, I would have implant surgery done so that I wouldn’t have to deal with the dentures anymore. Especially bothersome will be the upper palate plate. You don’t have that with permanent dentures. It’s just a shame that you have to fantasize about winning a lottery to have it done.

Why would anyone pull out a whole mouth of teeth? Does it mean that good, healthy, pearly whites will be pulled out? Why? This is insane. Pull out perfect healthy teeth just to put in dentures? That doesn't make any sense.

Not full implants, but nine years ago I traveled to Cancun, Mexico for very extensive dental reconstruction. Best decision I made in my entire life! My need for the reconstruction was due to extensive wear due to many years of clenching and grinding. I received two single implants to replace two missing teeth, 6 root canals and 28 Zirconium crowns! Nearly a decade now and the work has held up extremely well. I did have one crown fail early on, mostly my fault as I tried biting a half frozen candy bar (The dentist replaced it free of charge) and last year I had one molar extracted. My total costs including hotel and travels (From Michigan to Cancun 3 trips in total) was around 20k then, but that was a lot cheaper than the 65k the dentists here in the states wanted to charge me! 😮 The practice I chose was CDS by Ocean Dental in Cancun. The owner of the practice (Dr. Irma Gavaldon) trained here in Michigan and is an absolutely amazing dentist! I'd be happy to answer any questions for those considering making the trip!

I am 53 had periodontal disease had my last six pulled 5 days ago got immediate denture and can relate too everything you just said. But what other choice did I have they would of come out eventually my daughter is getting married next month and she was concerned about photos but either o would have too address no matter I will not give up but listening too you is very reassuring thank you.

The majority of people can not afford dental implants in the US. Most of us can’t afford relatively minor dental work. I understand making a profit and believe the dental field should be paid for their education and business, but the costs are out of line.

I have lousy teeth at the moment with dentures, which I hardly use as I don’t eat anything substantial with them , but I knew another guy who had dentures and when he spoke his dentures used to move totally independently of his mouth ! Really disconcerting!

The way I hear. The only way to be able to afford implants is to be a druggy.Or a illegal immigrant and you get them free.That puts me out of the category. I can even eat a decent mill and people talk like it.Only costs a couple $100 for implants.I just don't understand this.

I think mine cost 1500$ roughly and they fit for 12 hrs, then the dentist broke my bottom dentures. I begged her to send off for a new pair and she wouldn’t even though they are under warranty. I also asked to just get a normal set and she sent off for an over denture and they are so paper thing you can see right through them. Instead of the dentist fixing the problem I was told to just deal with it. I went to another place because I was interested in implants, now for the full set was 50 grand off the bat but because of a long list of health issues and anatomy issues and bone loss they would not be able to help me either. Any suggestions?

I few weeks ago, I watched a couple of Videos by a man living in Thailand who look us on a tour of a local dentistry that offers Titanium Plant and other Dental work. If I come across them again, I'll share them. I would ONLY GO TO THAT DENTISTRY abroad if I needed cheaper dental work done. Dear Kristi, PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Somehow start something, a petition maybe, to INSIST that EVERYONE contemplating having TITANIUM TOOTH IMPLANTS (or Titanium for anything in their body) first get tested for TITANIUM ALLERGY. That is an absolute MUST. I learned the HARDEST WAY after having 6 rear implants fitted, and then suffered excruciating Rheumatoid Arthritis systems, a few weeks later. I immediately visited no less than 3 Rheumatoid A. Specialists, and they ALL SAID EXACTLY THE SAME THING. That it had nothing to do with Titanium and was definitely Early Onset of Rheumatoid A. They ALL also advised that I'd be in a wheelchair within 2 - 3 years, and to begin planning my future around such an inevitability. NO WAYS was I going to believe them, so I went to a HOMEOPATH and finally somebody believed me. He managed to get hold of some RAW Titanium from a Mining Company, and made up a tiny bottle of Titanium Drops for me. I put 3 or so drops on my tongue twice daily, a VOILA! WITHIN THE FIRST DAY OR SO ALL MY NASTY, PAINFUL SYMPTOMS disappeared. A week later I was cured, but continued with the drops until they were finished ... maybe a month or 2 or even 3 later. That was about 28years ago. My Implants began to wobble loose after about 8 - 10 years, and one by one, they all fell out. That was because of my allergy, my jaw bone slowly moved away from them. Fortunately though, my jaw bone drill holes healed again. At the time, fewest people discussed such on the Net, but I managed to find possibly 20 to 30 Dentists offering Titanium Implants, and I alerted them. NOT ONE had the decency to respond, but just the other day, I saw a dental surgeon VOW THAT ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO TITANIUM ARE UNHEARD OF IMPOSSIBLE. BS!!! E-day is this Monday or me. The whole thing jumped up really quick. I went home sick with a horrible tooth ache on a Tuesday. I had already scheduled days off wed, Thursday and Friday for just a nice long weekend. The tooth ache ruined that. Went to the dentist wed morning. Hi Kristi. I'm a UK national, 58 years old who has always had a bad relationship with teeth and dentists in general after a bad experience as a child. So I have where possible tried to swerve a visit to the dentist. Over the last decade or so I have become quite the proficient DIY dentist, using Brandy and weed as my chosen anaesthetic. I was OK as long as my bottom front teeth were in situ, as my bottom lip naturally clears them as I talk. Then, in lock down the worst happened and I lost one. With my bottom fronts now without a neighbour to lean on the rest quickly followed until I was left with no teeth at all up top and only 7 on the bottom. Most important they could offer a general anaesthetic so I went to sleep with terrible teeth and woke up with no teeth but implants fitted. Total cost? £7850. 60% on the first visit. 40% on the second. I'm currently 2 months post op. The clinic have written to me to let me know my three month healing period is over on September 29th and I can travel back to Turkey anytime after that for the final treatment. I really can't wait. Thank God you posted this video. My teeth were pulled Monday. By day 3 my face looked like yours did and still does. Not everyone has this reaction-aparently we are the lucky ones. Lol. I look like a chipmunk and this frigging hurts still. I am using frozen hamburger patties. I watched this video 5 weeks ago and I remembered it this week so I knew I was normal these last few days.

I went to Sani Dental in Los Algodones in March 2022 and spent 18,000 on crowns and bridges. They destroyed my teeth. Fast forward to 5 days ago-I had all teeth pulled and took out a 48k loan for all on four's top and bottom here in the US. I believe there are great dentist in Mexico but the one Sani assigned to me- I was told- was "inexperienced" and the one they assigned to me in December 2023 to correct the poor work made things worse-my teeth had no hope for repairs after being drilled down twice and having crowns poorly set and sealed twice. It simply left me with too much nerve damage to recover from. Before you go-research the heck out of the dentist before you write them a check. Wish I would have.

Ummmmm pretty much everyone dental shames behind others backs. I would like to say I never did. Bc I had a friend who never got their adult teeth, and he was literally suicidal in HS from being bullied so bad (in the 90's. People fought to show they were "tough" so beating up the kid with the funny teeth- was an easy target, and I had my nose broken by grown men size seniors. I was then a freshman weighed 90lbs soak and wet and took a beating to my face like I've never felt before or again in my life. My nose was broken and still is crooked bc I stood up for my friend who basically did need dentures in HS. And his parents did nothing about it, to my understanding they were able to. They just didn't. Anyway, now. He's been a recluse for years now. He works but doesn't talk and if smiles he covers his mouth. Bc he just never was able to get the work done (and I think some fear was involved. But he had NO roots AT ALL, some of the baby teeth stayed a longggg he broke teeth eating the softest of foods. And people would physically hurt him and make fun of him. He told me people have reached out on social media apologizing for how they acted. But not before everyone went and said he was smoking crack, and he lost joint custody of his son. After that, I was really worried for my friend. And I couldn't be there. He knew why. But still. I can't stand bullies. It's worse when you're an adult and you're bullied. Trust me.

Ugh my son had it- he wound up with pneumonia and was in the hospital 2 days. And they said they're seeing a lot of it... and my son hasn't had any health benefits for the last year bc of work reasons. They're only giving employees 30 hours. So he had to cut out insurance. Now can't make his mortgage he's sick from the economy and then became physically ill. He hasn't been sick he was in diapers (to the point of having to go to ER- hasn't happened since he was dehydrated when he was 1. He was in high school and his whole last year. I couldn't even get him state insurance and I DO fall in the income requirements for free health insurance for my kids But now he's done. Myself- I follow you bc I am going to need dentures. And my debt, now is worse then it's ever been in my life. So now I won't leave my house. I won't record and do what I do to help people. There's NOTHING- I only have Medicare. Not enough money to pay for a dental care plan.

Originally, I followed you for your denture journey content. I think you would be successful presenting pretty much any content. You seem genuine, have great delivery, seem very personable and are very likable. Talk about what interests you, and I think people will listen.

$24K for all-on-six zirconia in May in Los Algodones. (I got a special deal) Got the temporary bridge implants back in January, so 4 months of healing before going back for the permanent set. I like the permanent set much better, they aren't as big and clunky, and are easier to clean. This was after getting all my (18) teeth removed in Juarez AND a set of dentures 3 years prior for only $1000. For the next 3 years I could not ever make the dentures work. My mother and father had dentures for as long as I remember so I thought I wouldn't have any problems either. Pfft... So I went to an American dentist to "get it done right" and for nearly $3000 (plus another $1000 for a useless alveoloplasty procedure) he made me a set of dentures that were WORSE than the ones I got from Juarez for 500 bucks. So $4000 down the drain for useless dentures and alveoloplasty from the American dentist. (By the way, getting the 18 teeth removed in Juarez cost me only $20 per tooth) Getting back to the implants, I've had this permanent set for 4 months and I like 'em. They look fine (normal color, not crazy white) and they work very well. I can eat a steak, I can eat a salad, I can eat crunchy snacks... no issues (yet, knock on wood). And I'm no longer embarrassed about how my mouth looks when I'm in public. During Covid, I was actually happy to wear a mask in public because is covered up my "Popeye" looking mouth. How long will they last? Hopefully a long time. The clinic has a 5 year guarantee, if I come back annually to get them checked. Ironically, I take better care of these implant bridges than I did my real teeth. Wish I had taken better care of my teeth when I was young...

Dentzz ……. The one stop dental shop, check it out you won’t be disappointed. I’ve been dealing with the Mumbai clinic and can’t fault the way they have treated me. The after care is world class even for me living in New Zealand, the advise on treatment for issues that arose were spot on and they were extremely fast to get on top of things. I’m just about to go back for my permanent arches and can’t wait. The staff at Dentzz are very approachable and accommodating when dealing with you as a person. Im getting my teeth pulled letting them heal then getting dentures only because i almost have what i need saved up for them, my teeth were so rotted i wanted them out, and dentist said they werent worth saving, ive gotten the bottom set extracted then 2 weeks later getting to top extracted which is in 1 more week, my bottom gums are still healing but noticed a nobby bump on my gums towards the far back, i research it and maybe a bone spur, i made an emergency appointment he told me it will flatelten out as my gums continue to heal. Hes right since my visit a couple days ago the bumps have flatten some but still there, maybe it wasnt a bone spur? Just excess gum?

I miss you..... It's really not that bad, you're eating, living, buying gas and doing what needs to be.. Word of advice: Stay away from negative people. 4 years ago dental work was expensive and many were going to Mexico, nothing changed.. No one is droping your gas or food prices, that would mean the oil tycoons everyone else get less profits..
