I think the fact that you see 40k for what it is: dark, miserable, xenophobic, hyper-violent, and don't demand it be changed for "a modern audience" is probably why as a woman you don't really face a lot of backlash from the community. The problem is when you start wanting to make the Imperium diverse and inclusive. Though really it already is, they don't care if you are black, white, gay, straight, trans, female, everyone can work 23hrs a day in a factorum until you drop dead of exhaustion and become corpse starch.
Thanks for the podcast, it was so much fun! I have many memories of trying to stifle a smile or a laugh at work. As someone who isn't able to catch streams a lot, I'm really glad I had a way to keep up with you two! I look forward to seeing more recorded content in the future!
At the time I finished watching this. Episode 25, 25k views, 2.6k likes. It's almost perfect :) I'm gonna miss this podcast, but I'm so happy I got to watch these episodes. HAGS!
The MGS:V base allocation system was introduced way before mobile games were a thing, it was extended from Peace Walker. Edit : Akshually no, it's even earlier, from portable ops.
Thanks for the Podcasts, I really enjoyed them and its so nice to see you two together!!! It was really nice to watch them while showering or eating ^^
Other than the first episode I was never able to catch these live because of work, but that doesn't change how happy I was to keep up with the episodes as they came out! Wishing Mint and Matara all the best in all their future projects!
The Tau does not castrate, more like "tie the tube" basically like how many men during our time had a vasectomy. Basically the Tau have a limit on population cap. Unlike the Imperium who has hive worlds that complete decimated the natural environment while stuffing billions into "hive" Tau cities are much more pleasing.
I HAD A GREAT SUMMER THANK YOU MINT & MATARA having something that's not a stream so i can listen to it easier whenever i had time every week was really nice
The podcast has been something I’ve loved to listen to when I’m walking or driving for a long time and I’m so grateful to have had that as a regular part of my life these last few months. Y’all even motivated me to take chances to do fun stuff for myself that I wouldn’t have otherwise (everyone should steal “go to medieval times” as a goal). Thank you both so much for all the fun memories this summer. I’ll be looking forward to everything y’all do in the future!
first comment here. this is long overdue i guess. I never knew/heard of the two of you until i randomly saw the first episode appear on my recommended a few months ago. on a whim, i decided to check it out on my drive to work and at first i was like who are these girls....and then ten minutes turned into an hour, turned into multiple episodes....and i was hooked. You guys are so fun together, and it became something I looked forward to every Monday. I even dug in to looking into both Mint and Matara so i could get more context on stuff you guys were talking about on live streams and stuff like that....and i can't believe Ive been so late knowing you both, but I'm so happy i found y'all. it's really sad that the podcast ended, but you guys have made a great summer for me to listen to while driving and walking. i ended up subscribing to both of y'alls streaming accounts, and I can't wait to hear you both again in a future collab. i miss you guys already, and it just ended.
I normally hate summer: the heat, the bugs (sorry Matara ❤) the terrible news whenever wildfires or people getting hurt from heat waves happen, and definitely the heat. But thanks to you both, I could look forward to each week to listen to your lovely yapping and could find something to like about summer. HAGS!❤❤!
Thanks Mint and Matara for the fun summer podcast. I didn't make a list to complete myself but I did a few fun things. I went to the beach for my birthday(summer baby woo), traveled to and visited Crater Lake, stopped by the last blockbuster on earth on the way, my parents visited my home for the first time since I moved away 9 years ago, and I visited the Tillamook factory which is a pretty big tourist destination here.
It's been an incredible time with you two, and yes this will never be again but that's why we have memory, to gather roses during winter. There's absolutely no doubt in my heart even better things await and I'm glad to see you two understand. Keep it up, I'll be waiting to see what you two have in store for us and what life has for you.
15:29 “Navigating all these changes… with you… has been… so… comforting”. That got me, the onion ninjas were attacking already, but that line really got me.
