No, Peles castle is not in Transylvania, but in northern Wallachia, Prahova county. Further north, Bran Castle is located on the border between the two regions. A strategic defensive position in the Middle Ages.

I was so disappointed that i couldn't enter the Barn castle as they close by around 5. Tried hard to communicate with the security to let us in for a few min but was respectfully asked to get lost :-) but no regrets! worth a try..
Beautifully narrated video of my ancestors and father homeland. There are so much history and the rich culture that we the new generations have no inkling about. Your video really keep our tradition alive. Now we have more knowledge and reading materials to know what our ancestors do and the suffering they have gone through to make what we are today.
