After visiting the Peles Castle, we had a chance to walk around the 2nd Castle or the outhouse of Peles Castle. With nigh falling, we drove from Peles to Barn Castle (The Dracula Castle). This is a much older Castle built by the king Vlad Dracul. He has a gruesome past and was called the "Impaler". He killed his enemies and his country men in extremely gruesome ways. You get the feeling when you walk around the Castle knowing about the bloody past of this place.
Since we reached there late in the evening by around 5.30pm, we were unable to enter into the castle. So took some photos from outside, walked around the Castle. It was bitter cold and we had to get back to Bucharest. So we drove back to Bucharest.
Its not the destination, its the journey that makes it all better!!!
