Welcome to Improved Health Chair Workouts! This channel has been created for anyone who needs to work out from a seated position, or for those who want to become stronger by holding onto a chair during part of a workout. You will find both options here with Jules from 'Improved Health'.

Since we are all of different abilities, you'll find a variety of levels from gentle seated workouts (level 1), to beginner (level 2) and intermediate (level 3). Once you find which level suits you best, you can find similar workouts in the playlists and on www.improvedhealthforseniors.com.

You can also find a variety of seated and standing workouts on the original channel, 'Improved Health' on RU-vid. I have decided to start this second channel dedicated to seated workouts, but I'm unable to move the seated workouts over to this new channel.

I have COPD and when the weather is very hot it’s not good for my lungs so I cannot walk outside, so I do 2 of your 20 minute workouts and I get in my steps and feel energized. Thanks so much for your great chair exercises.

I really like this video, it really seems to be helping my knees. And also I was having problems with my fingers locking up on me, I believe they call it trigger finger. Anyways since I've been doing the exercise in this video for your fingers and hands that problem has totally gone away thank you so much for your video and I hope that this video will inspire people to watch your videos because you're the best there is on RU-vid

My dad doesn't have Parkinsons but is dementia (and boxed in his youth). He enjoyed doing the boxing, trying to follow the combos! The novel moves in this video were good. (I think he's maybe too used to Jules' moves lol)

Legs are something we need to keep working on so that we can just walk and go to the bathroom as we age. Too many people lose that ability and end up in assisted living.

I also do your standing workouts for cardio (need to get back to the strength ones). I still like to do a chair range of motion/flexibility like this one once a week. Helps me focus on each body part. Thank you for the variety of your workouts.

@@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts lol- I couldn't even do cartwheels when I was a kid! A friend and I were talking about that recently - she couldn't either. In junior high school they tried to teach us gymnastics- I threw my back out and was excused the rest of the school year from extreme exercises. 🙄 Haven't been the same since. I go to the chiropractor once a month for years and years! But, I keep moving along best I can. That's why I love the chair exercises the best! Thanks for writing! 🫶🏻
